Over-exfoliation removes the thin layer your skin needs to hold moisture.

You are using face mist wrong in Dubai.
Most face mists contain plain water. In UAE heat and AC, plain water evaporates fast. When it goes, it pulls moisture from your skin with it. Your skin gets drier — not better.
The right face mist contains glycerin or thermal spring water.
These bond to skin and hold moisture in.
Check your ingredients list.
