Iconic Blondes with The Blonde Club: Episode 1.

Not every blonde you save on Pinterest is actually a bright blonde.

This is one of those colours that people often think is “just blonde”, but when you look closer there’s actually quite a bit going on.

What makes this colour so nice is the depth. You’ve got brighter pieces throughout, some natural shadowing at the root, and a little bit of contrast that stops it from looking flat or one-dimensional.
The result? A blonde that still feels bright, but grows out much softer than a traditional full blonde.

One of the most common things we hear in salon is:
“I want this colour, but is it realistic for me?”
And honestly, it depends where you’re starting.

If you’re already very blonde, we might actually need to make you slightly darker first by adding some lowlights and creating more depth.

If your hair is naturally darker, we’d likely need to lighten pieces throughout with foils and build towards this result over a couple of appointments.

The good news is that colours like this are usually far more flexible than people think. You can keep them quite low maintenance and enjoy a softer grow out, or maintain the brightness more regularly if that’s your preference.

If you’ve got a photo saved and you’re not sure whether it’s achievable for your hair, book a consultation using the link in our bio or call/text the salon number: 0403884373

One of the most common mistakes I see people make is buying products because they’re trending, because someone on TikTok recommended them, or because their friend swears by them.

And honestly, I get it.

The second you’re online Googling something like “best hair oil for hair growth”, you’re flooded with 50 different brands and 200 different products that, at first glance, all look pretty similar.

Then come the ads, the sponsored posts and the conflicting reviews.
It’s overwhelming.

The first thing I ask when recommending products is, “What are you actually struggling with?”
Is your blow dry taking forever?
Does your hair feel flat the second you leave the house?
Are you fighting frizz every morning?
Is your hair dry, tangled or impossible to brush after washing?
Does it feel like no matter how much money you spend on products, your hair still isn’t improving?
Different concerns need different solutions.

The truth is that most people don’t need more products.
They need the right products.

If you’re ever standing in front of a shelf wondering what to buy, stop thinking about the product and start thinking about the problem you’re trying to solve.

Or better yet, ask me next time you’re in the salon. I’d much rather help you find the right product than have you spend money on something you don’t actually need… ❤️

The hair extensions that damaged your mum’s hair 20 years ago are not the same hair extensions available today.

We hear it all the time.
“Don’t extensions ruin your hair?”

The truth is, when extensions are fitted correctly, maintained properly, and matched to the right client, they can actually be a really gentle way to achieve the hair you’ve always wanted.

For this gorgeous blonde, the goal was simple:
Thicker
Longer
Brighter

We achieved that using 3 rows of 22-inch weft extensions (250 grams).

The weft is sewn onto a beaded track, which allows the weight to be distributed evenly rather than pulling on tiny sections of hair. The result? Comfortable, discreet extensions that blend beautifully and move just like your own hair.

And for our blonde girls specifically, wefts can be a game changer.

Instead of constantly pushing your natural hair lighter and lighter to create fullness through the ends, we can often create that bright, thick blonde look through the extensions themselves. This means less bleach exposure on your natural hair, healthier ends, and often the ability to grow your own hair longer underneath!

(your curls will probably last way longer as well)

Because extension hair holds styling so well, many of our clients find they’re reaching for the curling wand less often and getting multiple days out of a style.

If you’ve been thinking about extensions but aren’t sure where to start, book a consultation via the link in our bio or call/text the salon on 0403 884 373 and we’ll chat through your options

Trust us, extension technology has come a long way since the early 2000s…
