�Your spray tan doesn’t just happen in the studio - it starts with how you prep and how you care for your skin afterward!

So, the glow you want?

Before you step into the tent, here’s what you need to know:

🧼 BEFORE YOUR TAN:
�Think of this as skin prep for your glow-up:
�✔ Exfoliate at least 24 hours before your tan - gently but thoroughly (no harsh scrubs day-of).
✔ Shower but don’t apply lotion, deodorant, perfume, or makeup.
✔ Shave or wax 24 hours before your tan (not the same day!). �✔ Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment (no jeans, no bra if possible).�✔ Bring slip on shoes to avoid rubbing off the tan.
✔ Tie up long hair and bring a hair tie or clip.
✔ Avoid heavy sweating right before or after your tan.

Wondering why all of this matters?

Prepping correctly helps the tan develop evenly and last longer - no streaks, patches or premature fading.

💧 AFTER YOUR TAN:
�Now that you’re bronzed and beautiful, let’s keep it that way:
�✔ Avoid water, sweat and tight clothes�✔ Don’t wash hands or get splashes of water on your skin
✔ Shower 1–4 Hours After (Depending on the level of darkness you’re wanting to achieve - the longer you leave it on, the darker it will develop)
✔ Rinse with lukewarm water only (no soap!) for 45 seconds - use your hand to rub your skin - no scrubbing!
✔ You’ll see some bronzer wash off - this is normal!�✔ Moisturise daily with a tan-friendly, oil-free lotion.�✔ Avoid long, hot showers, saunas, and chlorine.�✔ Pat dry - don’t rub with your towel.

Your tan is like a second skin - treat it gently and it’ll treat you very well in return 💫

Let’s talk about what really happens in the first 24 hours of your tan 🤎

📸 Slide 1: Right After Application
What you see straight after your appointment is the bronzer - your instant glow. It’s there so your artist can see even coverage, but it’s not your final colour. After your first shower, you might feel like your tan has lightened… but that’s when you need to trust the process.

📸 Slide 2: 24 Hours Later
Here’s where the magic happens ✨ Your tan is now fully developed, revealing your warm, natural-looking glow that will last 7-10 days (depending on your aftercare and many other factors).

📸 Slide 3: Prepped Skin
The secret to an even, long-lasting tan starts here - exfoliated, clean skin, free from lotions, oils and deodorants.

🌿 Pro Tip: Your tan keeps developing in the first 24 hours and that first rinse (with water only!) is everything!!! Follow your before + aftercare for the longest-lasting, most even glow possible.
