Supply chains don't optimise themselves. They require precision, logic, and someone who doesn't panic when the waters get murky. Enter Oliver Glasenapp, Ego’s Global Demand Lead for the Middle East & UK.

Since joining us in March 2021, Oliver has been the vital link between our Commercial teams in the Middle East and the UK, and our Operations hub in Melbourne. He started as a Demand Planner and quickly proved his worth, supporting the overhaul of the IBP forecasting process and stepping up to lead part of the region’s demand team in 2025.

His colleagues call him the "Swiss Army Knife" of cross-departmental alignment. Why? Because he breaks complex data down into simple, actionable steps. He is notoriously calm under pressure - so much so that nervous colleagues actively look for his face in the crowd during major presentations just to steady their nerves. He doesn't do gossip; he does diligence.

He brings that “Swiss Army Knife” approach to all things. In work he champions Ego’s corporate responsibility as part of our Sustainability Committee while out of the office you’ll find him volunteering at a community garden or camping with his new baby girl.

(And yes, the rumours are true: when he relocated from Germany to Australia six years ago, he managed to walk 100 kilometres inside a hotel room during COVID quarantine. That’s the level of dedication we’re talking about.)

Here’s to the people keeping the wheels turning and ensuring the science of healthy skin reaches the people who need it.

Looking after your skin is a science. Looking after your mind is an art. 🎨

For International Self-Care Day, we asked the team to show us how they recharge. From catching some sunshine, to practising cultural dance, or getting lost in a painting, self-care looks different for everyone.

We've got the skin science sorted. How do you sort out the rest?

Over a two-day exhibition at the Dermatological Society of Singapore (DSS) 37th Annual Scientific Meeting, our team engaged face-to-face with more than 100 local dermatologists.

Because treating and helping to prevent skin conditions requires a strict focus on dermatology, we used this platform to share the QV Ceramides range to these medical experts. We didn't just talk about the formulations; we put them to the test. Through live product demonstrations and hands-on testers, we educated healthcare professionals on the specific, key differences within the range and how it can support their patients.

Practical education strengthens professional relationships. It ensures that healthcare professionals have the direct experience necessary to make informed, science-backed decisions for their patients' skin health. Thanks to everyone who engaged with our team and our product throughout the event.

Before it was a household staple, it was a breakthrough in a glass bottle. 🧪

In 1953, effective relief for chickenpox and itchy, inflamed skin was incredibly limited. The solution started in a suburban laundry room: a precise formulation of pine tar and mild surfactants, mixed with a kitchen be**er.

We originally called it Ego Pine Tar Bath Solution. Today, you know it as Pinetarsol.

We’ve swapped the glass bottles for more practical plastic, and the kitchen be**ers for two-tonne stainless steel tanks, but our commitment to helping relieve real skin problems hasn't changed. Practical innovation. Backed by science.

We hear lots of questions about skin health, but the most important ones rarely get asked. For World Skin Health Day, we asked three skin experts: What’s the one question you wish people would ask you?

Thanks to Maddy O’Brien (Dermal Clinician), Dr Francis Lai (Dermatologist) and Dr Cara McDonald (Dermatologist) for their answers!
Better questions lead to better skin. Happy World Skin Health Day. 🧬

Happy NAIDOC Week. 🖤💛❤️ This year’s theme, "50 Years of Deadly," is a powerful celebration of the enduring strength, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples over the last half-century. At Ego, we are marking the week by reflecting on our ongoing partnership with the Numbulwar community in remote Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. When we first connected with the community in 2019, we operated on one simple principle: ask the community what they actually need.

In remote areas (where everyday essentials can cost up to seven times city prices) access to basic commodities is a significant hurdle. To help bridge this gap, Ego has provided over $20,000 in practical, day-to-day support. This includes Ego products like QV moisturisers, Aqium hand sanitisers, and MOOV insect repellents, alongside fundamental household appliances and cleaning supplies needed to maintain healthy home environments.

Real impact means listening first and acting practically. We are proud of our ongoing connection with the Numbulwar community and remain committed to supporting their health, hygiene, and everyday wellbeing.

Eight people. 145 years of combined service.

Between them, they span production, commercial, and everything in between - including Ego's international growth. Tenures of 15, 20, and 25 years don't happen by accident. This quarter, we're taking a moment to recognise what that kind of commitment actually means to the business.
Join us in thanking these team members for their monumental contribution to Ego. 👏 👏 👏

The UK team had such a good time at the recent Boots Inspire Conference, connecting directly with the pharmacists and retail staff who guide your skincare choices every day.

When a customer presents with dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin, retail teams must know what products to recommend. To support this, we built an immersive QV experience that took conference attendees through a complete brand journey.

Rather than just reading about the range, the Boots team tested the products firsthand. From the initial application of our gentle washes and bath oils to understanding the varying intensities of our lotions, creams, and ointments, we empowered them with the practical knowledge to make confident, tailored recommendations on the shop floor.

Most people look at packaging and see a box. Michaela Cooke looks at it and sees the final, crucial step in protecting our products and ensuring they retain the quality our customers deserve.

Our Global Product Projects Manager has just won the Packaging Technology Leader Award at the 2026 PKN Women in Packaging Awards.
This category recognises those implementing advanced processes and technologies that actively shape the Australasian packaging industry. For Ego, Michaela’s work ensures our products are delivered safely, sustainably, and efficiently.

A hard-earned win for Michaela and a strong reflection of our commitment to Australian manufacturing.

Meet Aneeka Hussain, our National Market Access Manager for the UK. 👋

She sits right at the intersection of commercial strategy and patient care, acting as a vital bridge between our business objectives and NHS priorities. Her work ensures that patients get access to QV products when they need them most.

In the 18 months she’s been with us, Aneeka has already:
🏆 Taken home a major sales award at our EMEA conference in Hanoi.
📊 Led a successful clinical service evaluation demonstrating the steroid-sparing effectiveness of QV creams alongside our AU and UK teams.
🤝 Built deep, advocacy-driven relationships with Healthcare Professionals.

But it’s not just the commercial milestones that make her an asset; it’s how she gets there.

Her peers describe her as fiercely tenacious, incredibly collaborative, and the owner of an infectious "can-do" attitude. Whether she's digging deep into the market to find strategic solutions or simply bringing her signature warmth and "work hard, play hard" energy to the team, Aneeka never settles for the status quo.

Thank you for your relentless drive and dedication to the QV range, Aneeka. We are incredibly proud of your growth and can't wait to see what you achieve next. 👏
