This post comes with enormous sadness...
On 30 June 2023, at 5:30pm, Luscious Hair & Beauty closed its doors for the very last time. We know this comes as a shock, it was a very sudden closure with little to no notice, and we weren't able to let you all know any sooner.
Unfortunately, the current economic climate combined with various personal factors put more pressure on us than ever expected.
We want to thank every one of our clients for supporting us these past 18 Months. Whether you were a regular or only popped in once or twice, words cannot surmise how much you mean to us.
Some of our team will be stepping back into old ventures, while some will be diving into something new. Here's where you can find us in the future:
Yasmin is currently having a well-deserved rest while recovering from surgery. She will be returning to her home salon in Wellington late July, you can find her at Nails And Beauty By Yasmin
Ellie will be returning to beauty at her salon and you can find her at Currawong Beauty & Co
Jess Hangan is also returning to her beauty salon and you can find her at All Jess’d Up Nails n Beauty
Jessie Harris is having a well-deserved break before taking on a new venture from September! In the meantime, you can contact her at (as well as find updates about her new venture!)
Ngaire is taking a much needed break trekking around New Zealand and visiting family.
Jerry is still seeking a position as a hairdresser, so if you're looking for a hard working and dedicated full-time stylist, please reach out so we can point him in your direction!

For all clients with appointments booked in the coming months, we will be contacting you to discuss options. We are so sorry for the inconvenience this will cause, but hope we can squeeze you in with one of our staff wherever they are, or at least get you in to someone else we know and trust!

Of course, we know there are many gift vouchers out there just waiting to be redeemed. Rest assured, these are still valid to be used on beauty services with Yasmin (Nails & Beauty by Yasmin).

Looking for a lash and brow model for tomorrow!

Lashes and brows will be half price, model must not currently have extensions on and must be okay to have whatever lashes I would like to apply as this will be an entry for a lash competition! Must also be okay for before and after photos to be taken as well as a time lapse of the application process. Lashes will also need to be in good condition and a recent lash lift not to have been done! Message us if you would like this spot for 10am tomorrow!
