Are you eating a plant based diet, vegetarian or maybe just looking for simple ways to boost your protein?? 💪

Here are 2 great options to have a look at 👀
Both have minimal ingredients, almost double the protein compared to standard varieties and lower carbs.

“Let’s start the change now” love this Healthy in the Middle

It's such an exciting time for menopause support and information in Australia, with the Senate report into the Issues Related to Menopause and Perimenopause released last week.

The report outlines comprehensive recommendations focused on enhancing research & data collection, improving education and awareness, mobilising workplace policies and support and creating improved access to evidence-based health care services and treatment options.

We appreciate that the implementation of 25 comprehensive recommendations will take time, particularly noting changes to regulatory and policy frameworks may be required. We also know that despite every recommendation having the potential to improve the experiences of all women (and all people born with ovaries), we benefit from applying cautious optimism and patience with our expectations.

Having worked in roles where I was responsible for implementing new national health service policy, I appreciate that despite significant effort, dedicated resources and strong leadership, changes take time to be felt on the ground. Yet, there is much we can do whilst we wait for national initiatives to be considered, scoped and rolled out. Women are needing support now, so let's not wait for the ripples of a national campaign to reach our communities.

Let's start the change now, wherever we are, so that women who need support don't have to wait. We are starting our Collaborative Menopause Movement with a Perimenopause & Menopause Workshop in a small corner of West End next weekend ... so come along if you are one of the many women who needs information and support now.

It’s a list that crushes the 40 or so symptoms we usually hear about! Overwhelming? Yes, but more a feeling of validation for me. I would have loved this list about 8 years ago. The shift is real and you’re not alone 💜
Data collected by Canadian based company Morphus has revealed over 103 signs and symptoms of perimenopause and menopause!

Hot flushes are probably the most synonymous but they are not the most common - only coming in at number 10. Over half of the top 10 are brain based 🤯
