80 high-quality wheelchairs donated to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) Hospital, Aligarh — through Rahat Social Impact Foundation.

Sometimes giving back starts with something very simple.

A few months ago, we started thinking about what we could do for JNMC Hospital in Aligarh.

Not something that would simply look good on paper, but something that could make a patient’s day a little easier.

So today, through Rahat Social Impact Foundation, we donated 80 high-quality wheelchairs to JNMC Hospital, Aligarh.

A wheelchair may seem like a small thing.

But for a patient who cannot walk, it can mean mobility. For an attendant, it can mean being able to move a loved one safely from one part of the hospital to another. And for a family already going through a difficult time, sometimes making one small thing easier matters more than we realise.

This initiative is particularly close to our hearts because my father, Mr. Rahat Sultan Khan, is an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University. Aligarh gave him an education, a career and memories that stayed with him long after he left.

Today, he wanted to give something back to the city that gave him so much.

This is our first initiative with JNMC, but hopefully not our last.

We are already working towards a larger vision for the hospital — supporting digitalisation, healthcare infrastructure, medical treatment, free health camps and other initiatives wherever we can create meaningful impact.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our donors and the efforts of everyone who helped bring this initiative together.

And perhaps that is what giving back really means.

You don’t have to change the whole world.

Sometimes, you just have to make one person’s world a little easier.

Alhamdulillah. 🤍

We donated 80 wheelchairs to JNMC Hospital, Aligarh, India. 🤍

Rahat Social Impact Foundation donated 80 high-quality wheelchairs to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) Hospital, Aligarh, to support patients with greater mobility, comfort, safety and dignity, while helping attendants and hospital staff assist patients across wards, OPD, diagnostics and emergency areas.

But this is only the beginning. Our vision is to support JNMC Hospital, Aligarh Medical and the wider Aligarh community through healthcare and social-impact initiatives including hospital digitalisation, computers, CPUs, printers, medical implants, treatment support, Free Eye Check-up Camps, Women’s Health Camps, Orthopaedic Camps and Blood Donation Camps.

Rahat Social Impact Foundation was established by Mr. Rahat Sultan Khan, an Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) alumnus, who studied Civil Engineering at AMU and later served with the Delhi Jal Board. The Foundation carries forward his lifelong belief in giving back to society, providing relief and creating meaningful social impact. Mr. Ateef Sultan Khan and Ramsha Sultan serve as Directors, with Ramsha officially representing the Foundation at JNMC for this initiative.

We are deeply grateful to all our donors and supporters, and especially to Mr. Rahat Sultan Khan and Mr. Ateeb Sultan Khan for their efforts in making this wheelchair donation possible.

This is more than a wheelchair donation in Aligarh. It is the beginning of a larger commitment to JNMC, AMU and the Aligarh community.

Aligarh, this is just the beginning. InshaAllah. 🤍

Indian Muslims who fought for India’s freedom. 🇮🇳

How much do we really know about the Muslim freedom fighters of India and their contribution to the Indian freedom struggle?

From Tipu Sultan, Ashfaqulla Khan, Begum Hazrat Mahal and Bakht Khan to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar, Hasrat Mohani, Yusuf Meherally and Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan — Indian Muslims contributed to the struggle against British rule and the British Raj in remarkably different ways: through armed resistance, revolutionary movements, journalism, political mobilisation, intellectual leadership and non-violent resistance.

This video draws context from Books on Muslim Freedom Fighters of India by Salim Khan, a two-part historical compilation documenting lesser-known and often overlooked Muslim figures from India’s long freedom struggle. The books cover a broad historical arc, beginning with Siraj-ud-Daulah and Tipu Sultan and moving through the Revolt of 1857, Khilafat Movement, Indian National Congress and the modern Indian independence movement.

Indian history is vast. The freedom struggle was collective. And these stories deserve to be remembered. 🇮🇳

China 🇨🇳 There’s a beautiful Chinese saying:

“百闻不如一见” (Bǎi wén bù rú yī jiàn)

“Hearing about something a hundred times can never compare to seeing it once.”

After visiting China, I finally understood why.

China isn’t simply a country you tick off a bucket list—it’s a civilization that quietly reshapes the way you think. Every day revealed something unexpected: futuristic skylines standing beside centuries-old traditions, incredibly efficient infrastructure woven into rich cultural heritage, and people carrying forward customs that have inspired the world for thousands of years.

As travellers, we often arrive with expectations. China teaches you to leave with perspective.

谢谢,中国。Xièxiè, Zhōngguó. ❤️

“Thank you, China, for welcoming us with unforgettable memories.”

🍲 One of my favourite memories from China has to be trying Halal Chinese Hot Pot for the very first time.

The steaming broth, handmade noodles, fresh vegetables, and perfectly seasoned ingredients reminded me that good food has a beautiful way of connecting cultures. While the flavours were distinctly Chinese, I found them surprisingly comforting and familiar to an Indian palate.

No wonder hot pot is considered one of China’s most beloved dining experiences—it isn’t just a meal; it’s something shared around a table with family and friends.

✈️ Every great journey begins with the flight.

Flying with China Eastern Airlines made travelling with our little toddler much easier than we had imagined. Comfortable service, smooth flights, and beautiful views from above made the journey feel like part of the adventure rather than simply getting from one place to another.

🐟 One thing that fascinated me in China was seeing live seafood tanks outside many restaurants. From fish and crabs to shellfish and other varieties, you can actually choose your seafood fresh before it’s cooked. It’s such a unique dining experience and something you don’t often see on this scale.

Personally, I only eat fish, so I happily stayed within my comfort zone and didn’t try the other kinds of seafood. 😄

What about you? Have you ever tried any other seafood beside

The hardest part about staying halal today is choosing right when wrong is celebrated…

In this world where…

Alcohol is celebrated, be the one whose gatherings are filled with chai, coffee, family, and barakah. ☕

When zina is normalized,
be the one who loves through nikah. 🤍

When lies become strategy,
be the one whose word can be trusted. 🌿

When modesty is mocked,
be the one who wears haya with confidence. 🕊️

When cheating is praised as intelligence,
be the one who succeeds with honesty. 📖

When riba is called smart business,
be the one who chooses halal earnings, even if they come slower. ✨

When people compete for attention,
be the one who competes for Jannah. 🌙

When morality becomes old-fashioned,
be the one who follows the timeless guidance of the Quran and Sunnah. ✨

The goal is not to be different from people.

The goal is to be pleasing to Allah.
Hold firmly to your values.

Jannah has never been meant for the crowd. 🤍

After years of waiting for a child, Allah blessed Ibrahim عليه السلام with Ismail عليه السلام 🤍

Then came a test unlike any other. Ibrahim عليه السلام saw a dream commanding him to sacrifice the son he loved the most. As he and Ismail عليه السلام set out to obey Allah, Shaytan tried to stop them, but they remained firm in their faith ✨

When Ibrahim عليه السلام was about to fulfill Allah’s command, Allah replaced Ismail عليه السلام with a ram and accepted his sacrifice 🤍🐏

This is the true essence of Qurbani. Not just sacrificing an animal, but sacrificing our desires, ego, and attachment to dunya for the sake of Allah.

That is why millions of Muslims celebrate Eid ul Adha, Bakrid, Hajj, and Dhul Hijjah by following the Sunnah of Ibrahim عليه السلام and remembering his incredible Tawakkul, sabr, and obedience 🕋✨

When the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Cave Hira, he returned home shaken and emotional… and according to narrations, he came to Khadijah رضي الله عنها seeking comfort and reassurance 🤍

At that moment, Islam had no followers. No millions. No Ummah. No masjids filled across the world. Just one man carrying the weight of revelation from Allah 🕋✨

And today… look at the promise of Allah.

Millions of Muslims travel for Hajj and Umrah every year. Millions stand in Arafat crying in dua. Millions send peace and blessings upon Muhammad ﷺ every single day. We are an Ummah that has never physically seen our Prophet ﷺ… yet we love him more than ourselves 🤍

This teaches us something powerful:
Your responsibility is sincerity. Your responsibility is obedience. Your responsibility is to do the work Allah gave you — even if nobody believes in you at first. Allah is the One who puts acceptance, barakah, impact, and love in your efforts ✨

During these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, Day of Arafah, Hajj 2026, and Eid ul Adha, Muslims around the world turn their hearts towards Makkah, Madinah, Mina, Mount Arafat, Quran, dua, dhikr, Istighfar, Takbeer, repentance, and the love of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ 🤍

These blessed days of Zulhijjah are the most beloved days to Allah for good deeds. 🤍

As we prepare for Eid Al Adha, many families around the world are simply praying for food, safety, and one warm meal for their children. 💔

I recently came across Giving Hands Australia — one of the first platforms I personally found accepting donations in INR & PKR, making it easier for our Indian & Pak Muslim community to help directly.

Their teams are supporting families in G*za, P*lestine, Sud*n, Leb*non, refugee camps, and other crisis-hit regions through:
✨ Qurbani distribution
✨ Freshly cooked hot meals
✨ Food support for widows & children

For some children, this may be their first time eating meat in a very long time.

During these first 10 days of Zulhijjah — especially before the Day of Arafah — every act of charity and feeding someone carries immense reward.

100% of your charity goes directly towards helping families in need. 🤍

Comment “LINK” and I’ll personally send you the donation link directly.
