AnnyBody Ethos focuses on three key principles to achieve a greater state of well-being: HappyBelly, HappyBody and HappyMind. Our philosophy is based on the principle that the human body is an intelligent system always striving toward optimum health. A simple fact of life is ā we are all unique; we have our own individual needs at any given time based on age, hormonal changes, lifestyle, genetic disposition, race, sex and goals. Our Belly, Body and Mind are deeply connected and cannot be addressed separately, when change occurs in one area other areas follow suit. The question is what is it that each and every body needs for optimum health? Is it really possible by eating quality food in season that anybody can feel better, look better, think better and in general be better? HappyBelly
āLet food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.ā ā Hippocrates 350BC
Let us look then at what kind of food is quality food and can be used a medicine. What was Hippocrates really talking about here? By finding a range of foods that have worked for them, over time my clients have found a profound difference between feeling unwell and a renewed sense of wellness. Relief from a range of issues such as:
digestive disorders
hormonal issues
headaches
sleep disorders
excess or lack of body weight
aches and pains
sugar cravings
energy slumps
skin issues and allergies
mood swings and depression
The powerful healing qualities of seasonal and unadulterated food, specific to your needs, prepared in a way that suits your tastes is the magic I love discovering with you. Of course we cannot isolate consuming food from other areas of life. To compliment our HappyLife, focus on a happybody and happymind are an integral part of the overall equation. HappyBody
ā¦āthe real secret to lifelong good health is actually the opposite: Let your body take care of you.ā - Deepak Chopra
The body was designed to move and interact with life. What makes you move, again depends on your individual make up. There is no one size fits all rather what drives and works for you. For each of us to find our food is always related to a happier body and a happy body is a body that is in balance and relatively free of aches and pains. Similar to the concept that eating quality food will assist everybody, so too some kind of movement will assist everybody. Give it what it needs and watch how it takes care of itself as Deepak elegantly expresses. When body feels freer, magically we feel more clear and positive in thought. HappyMind
āThe brain is not fixed, it is a processā ā Dr Dean Ornish
It is no mystery that mind is powerful beyond our full understanding. Yet what is clear when we observe successful people is they often have clarity and stamina with their mission. Our mission is to build your core strength with a more conscious and positive thinking behavior. We support this process with:
a quality supply of reliable and independent information on health & wellbeing
tips and specific exercises to support a more focused and attentive mind
activities around mindfulness
encouragement to observe difficult situations from different perspectives
The vital link here is that when we change lifestyle habits for the better with food and movement, the expression of at least 500 genes in our body also change. This means our brain and thought process is indeed flexible. As the body can change shape, so too can the brain. When the momentum starts to build both body and mind have a built in engine of their own. A corner is now turned ā from force to ease. No more fighting with yourself. Anybody can join the wellness revolution. Are you ready to come on board?

Rage Rising: a Chinese medicine lens on menopause, hormones, and the fire rising underneath. Itās time to work with your energy and emotions, not against them.
For decades, womenās experiences have been medicated and pathologized, told to calm down, breathe, relax, manage it away.
But you are not broken and you are not out of control.
There is real energy here, and when itās understood, it becomes a powerful ally, not something to suppress or feel ashamed of.
This is source energy. The same fire that opened your very first cycle at 14 is the fire rising now, as the vessel that carried you through four decades of fertility completes its cycle.
Itās not random, and it was never a malfunction.
Our voices are rising. This is the energy to harness, not hide.
Rage Rising is a 4-week journey into understanding whatās really rising, and turning this energy into fuel to work with. Itās a revolution rising. Can you hear it?!!

We were given the pill as an option for freedom, freedom from pregnancy, but also from hormonal acne, hormonal depression, PMS.
Supporting young women matters.
But this has come at a great cost.
Interfering with our biology does not go without consequences.
In Chinese medicine, the Liver stores the Blood and governs the smooth flow of Qi through the body. Decades of synthetic hormone use disrupts both, the Blood itās meant to store, and the free flow itās meant to maintain.
When Liver Qi is stuck, it stagnates. Think of a kink in a hose, the flow stops, pressure builds behind it. Now think about what happens the moment that kink is released.
Thatās the kind of energy behind the heightened emotions so many of us are feeling right now.
The intensity of emotion in this transition is enough on its own. Knowing there are influences is empowering.
If you resonate with any of this DM or comment āwaitlistā and Iāll be in touch when Rage Rising opens š¹

Could your menopausal rage have a relationship with your mother?
Our mothers came from a different time, different circumstances, a different love language altogether. Protection, control, discipline, often standing in for love.
This primary relationship shapes so much of our lives, whether weāre happy with her influence or not. We can respond or react. Either way, itās still a response.
In clinic, most women come to realise thereās some aspect of this relationship woven into whatās troubling them. Sometimes itās obvious. Sometimes itās a shock.
In Chinese medicine, the Ren Mai, the Conception Vessel, opens at puberty alongside the Chong Mai, bringing our first cycle and the beginning of our fertile years.
At menopause, this same vessel closes. As it does, so much of what itās been carrying comes up for review, including our earliest years, and our bond with our mother.
Itās so common for charged emotions like rage, anger and frustration during menopause to have roots in that early bond, strong or traumatic, depending on how she was navigating her own life at the time.
My mother died in my late 40s. Ours was a complex relationship. When she died, it was one of the most profound experiences of my life, I discovered just how intertwined my identity was with who sheād made me be.
Iām praying at The Convent in October for Into Her Power
Iām also building something for exactly this.
If any part of this is speaking to you, DM me āwaitlistā and Iāll be in touch.
With love,
Anny š¹
Menopausal rage has a relationship with your mother.
The Ren Mai (Conception Vessel or The Sea of Yin) the vessel that opened during birth and bonding with your mother and governed your fertile years starting at puberty through approximately 40 years of cycling, is the same vessel thatās now closing.
And as it closes, so much of what it carries comes up for review, including the first seven years of your life.
The level of connection we have with our mother cannot be overstated from any lens.
What we often miss is how deeply that early bond shapes the way we talk to ourselves, how we care for and love ourselves (especially how we can or not prioritise our own needs), and how we relate to the significant others in our lives as adults. Not to mention relationships with our own children.
This is a new approach to the work Iāve been developing, and Iāll be speaking more about it here.
Follow along.
And if itās landing for you, comment āwaitlistā or DM me, and Iāll be in touch personally.

The negative bias, how we remember and identify so much more with criticism & what didnāt go as well, compared to compliments & the awesomeness of the things.
A kindly reminder that itās easier to notice the cracks and not the light that shines through.

One piece that landed most for the women at Yin Palace this weekend was how allowing receptive qualities like listening, leaning, ease of movement, permission to drop in without comparison and judgement with other women from different life seasons and situations, had them leave after 3 hours feeling full, replenished and restored.
We didnāt force anything. didnāt try to fill the day with learning as much as we could.
This is the receptive nature of yin, the capacity to feel fullness without needing to chase it, without needing to earn it through effort.
The next Yin Palace is in the planning, likely November if youāre interested in being on the waitlist. Melbourne.

Bringing qigong, somatic embodiment with the lens of our life seasons and life cycles and meaningful conversations of what it feels like to be in the world as mother, sister, daughter, lover and all the roles we have. And permission to be none of them!
More requested from people today, itās a big energy and Iām here for it!
Taking a waitlist for the next if youāre interested.

Iāve spent most of my adult life healing wounds that started early. I was educated into believing emotions were wrong and made me weak.
Speaking from my heart meant that I must be dumb.
What does matter are facts. Knowledge, knowing stuff. Being right was valued.
Having a relationship with myself wasnāt part of the curriculum.
Itās taken years to undo that. Years of coming back into my body, back into feeling, back into trusting that what rises in me is my compass and highly valuable.
Iām several years past my last cycle now, and I feel more myself than ever.
The relationship I have with my emotional world, built slowly through all the undoing during menopause, is the strongest foundation I have.
It shapes every relationship Iām in now, with myself first, and everyone else after.
This is whatās coming through so strongly in my support for women. Their relationship to themselves is being prioritised (theyāre inquiring into their lives) and as a consequence communication is stronger with their people.
Whatās your relationship to your inner world, your emotions - especially anger like?
With love,
Anny š¹
Peri rage in your home?
How are you supposed to communicate to your closest when you yourself donāt know whatās happening?
Itās so common, epidemic proportions!
First the rising fury, then the shame.
It arises out of nowhere, nothing can stop it especially when you Know itās not exactly right! And as soon as itās out the rebound āF*ck, whatās happening, why canāt I control myself anymore? I thought getting older means maturity!ā
Believe me, there is a way through. As mad as it seems, you are not broken and you are not a failure.
You may need some space to reduce the triggering in the beginning, and you donāt have to know whatās happening in order to communicate clearly.
Whatās important is building trust with your changing self.
And communicating that things are changing but you donāt need to know. Your people will trust your trust.
And you donāt have to navigate this alone.
Iāve got a few ways to support the messy transition if you need, reach out ā¤ļøš¹
