The first session is to lay the foundation for the second session (creating Density) which will heal lighter before moving to a darker shade on the second session.

My client was hesitant to drop the hairline further, so I told him there’s no rush in making a decision and we should leave it like this. That way he can get used to having his SMP, gain an understanding of the healing process and how it’s going to look.

As an artist I prefer taking a conservative approach for all my clients and I allow a minimum 2 week gap between the First and Second Session, and a minimum 3 week gap between 2nd and 3rd.

This allows my client to get used to their SMP and let all their thoughts settle so they can come into the session with a greater sense of clarity.

This client had SMP done 3 years ago with poor retention.
I worked around a few small blotchy areas, faded patches, and over some areas of sun pigmentation to restore his existing SMP.

Theres potential for a few tweaks to blend, but ultimately the goal was to restore without over saturating, to ensure it heals correctly and lasts a long time.
