Bro came from St Kilda to Chadstone with no hair, not sure how or what I can do but after some analysis, decided on a lil ghost line up plus faded sculpted hybrid spartan italian beard plus a mid skin fade did the trick 😳

Did we save him and bring his imaginary girlfriend into reality? If your answer is yes, make sure to like, save, share, comment and follow the account for more crazy glowup. I appreciate all your support 🙏

Cambodian mum found us on Facebook and decided to book a haircut appointment as a birthday gift for her 15 year old son. Came all the way from Mulgrave to Chadstone to find a new hairstyle that suits his face. Did I bless him up? I’ve always been too scared to share my story:

I spent 3 years studying for “THE DREAM”

When I graduated university and didn’t get a single offer, I felt like the world was moving on without me. I spent two years grinding in a Korean restaurant just to survive wondering if I’d ever “make it”.

When the Big 4(EY) offer finally came, I thought I had won. I had the title, the perks, the status, the work from home benefits and the office... but I was dying inside. Researching tax legislation constantly fried my brain but I was too scared to leave because I’ll lose the steady income.

I’ve always had a passion for helping people build their confidence, and barbering allowed me to do that, however, there wasn’t much money in it. I was charging $30 doing like 3 haircuts a day after my 9-5. If I quit my 9-5, I won’t have enough income to pay the bills, rent and food.

But just the thought of not giving it everything I had and continuing my life like that was something I was gonna deeply regret.

So I decided to give filming my barbering videos one last try and give it everything I got. Not many know this but I’ve tried posting content everyday a few times before, 3 times before and all 3 times I stopped after the 40-60 days mark. I told myself this time it’s do or die, let’s go beyond that 60 days mark, and it really paid off. I’ve posted everyday for 2 years on my 4th go of content creation that allowed me to quit my 9-5 job and pursue my own barbershop full time.

This account is me sharing my story and not just what, but why I cut hair and how I live life outside of work and sharing it all through content creation. I hope my story resonates with at least one of you out there!

What would you actually do for them?!

Social media often makes you feel like you’re falling behind, but here’s proof that you’re doing just fine. My damage assessment at 26:

1.) Bought Square Stock (SQ) at $274.45 in 2021 with half my savings, then more at $230.99. Still holding at $86.96. No research, just buying random stock and losing $$$$.
2.) Gambled on horse racing, tried dropshipping, bet trading, affiliate marketing, and crypto. None of it succeeded; I lost over $30k.
3.) Tried to fit in: drinking, smoking, and doing drugs to look cool. I thought I’d outgrow it automatically, but I learned that growth is a choice you have to make every day.
4.) Played League of Legends for a decade just to peak at Gold V. Spent years only to realize I had no talent for it and terrible hand-eye coordination.
5.) Rejected 100+ times (jobs and girls). Even bought a book on how to win girls over and still flopped. I was super awkward and had zero confidence. Relationships never lasted more than a few months.
6.) Failed first year Actuarial degree at Melb Uni. Pivoted to Accounting at UTAS, started a grad program at EY, and quickly found out I wasn’t cut out for it—but I was too scared to leave.
7.) Invested in Hyperverse and referred 3 friends. Found out later it was a fraudulent scheme; we lost $15k+.

I’m 26 now. No trophies in anything. Random barber in Australia. Still figuring life out.

And honestly? I was ashamed for most of my life. I used jokes to cover up these mistakes because the “I didn’t care” act was easier than owning it.

But that act is exhausting.

I’m done lying to myself and coping when I should be building. Let’s own the L’s, improve, stay consistent and disciplined.

If you’re between 20-35 and feel like you’re lagging—you aren’t broken. You’ve just finally run out of lies to tell yourself.

And that’s exactly where the work begins.

Follow along as I try to become a better person. This is the redemption arc.
