If you’re new here and have ever wondered why I occasionally need to reschedule appointments, I wanted to share a little of our story.

In October 2025, my 4 year old daughter Harper was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), a rare and aggressive blood cancer. Since then, our lives have revolved around hospital stays, chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, and regular appointments as we navigate the ups and downs of her recovery.

There are times when things can change very quickly, and being with Harper will always need to come first.

To every single client who has shown me patience, kindness and understanding when appointments have needed to change thank you. Your support means more to my family than you’ll ever know 🤍

A little update on the new textured extensions… 🤎

One thing that’s really important to me is trialling every new range myself before offering it to my clients. I want to know exactly how it feels, wears and performs so I can confidently stand behind the quality.

When it comes to textured hair it’s important to remember that no two curl or wave patterns are the same. Finding an exact match for everyone isn’t realistic, but getting as close as possible is always the goal and that’s exactly what I’m working towards.

So far I’m impressed with the quality. Even though this particular curl pattern is a little tighter than my own hair, I’ve still genuinely enjoyed wearing it. The hair feels good for textured hair and has given me a really good idea of how it performs day to day.

If you choose to blow dry textured extensions straight you can expect some frizz compared to naturally straight hair and that’s completely normal. It’s textured hair after all. But the great thing is you still have the flexibility to wear it in its natural wave or curl, or blow dry and style it straight whenever you feel like changing things up.
