This client is in her 50s and enjoys spending time in the sun every day. She has sun spots, age spots, and hormonal pigmentation.

For clients with regular sun exposure, I often begin with a skin-preparation using a brightening agent such as Cosmelan. This helps improve treatment results and may reduce the risk of post-procedural complications.

Because this client presented with mixed pigmentation at different skin depths, I initially used IPL and Er:YAG laser to address the more superficial pigmentation, then maintained the results with Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and GD Tone-Up. The Q-switched Nd:YAG laser not only helps maintain pigment clearance, but also targets deeper dermal pigmentation, stimulates collagen remodelling, improves pore appearance, and can reduce fine facial vellus hair.

Skin rejuvenation is an ongoing process, but after 5 months her skin is noticeably brighter, smoother, and more even in tone. For a client who enjoys the sun as much as she does, this is an excellent outcom✨🥰
