Sometimes healing doesn’t look like doing more.
Sometimes it looks like closing your eyes, slowing your breath, and letting your body remember that it is safe.
In this moment, we’re not trying to fix anything.
We’re simply creating space for the nervous system to soften, release, and reset.
Every inhale is an invitation.
Every exhale is permission to let go of what you’ve been carrying.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or constantly “on,” this is your reminder that your body deserves moments like this too.
Your nervous system is listening to every breath you take.
Come home to yourself, one breath at a time.

Laying here with my thoughts from the week…
Deciding what’s worthy of sharing, what can bring value. Where I can be of use. 🤔
And then it hits me… we all probably feel this constantly. That’s what contributes to burnout.
That’s the reality for me anyway… and yet here I am suggesting you put yourself first and book a facial or a beauty treatment and give yourself the nourishment and time you deserve and I struggle to do it for myself.
Truth is I’ve been sitting with some heavy feelings this week, some old shadows appeared and reflections from old friends put some big life events into perspective. I’ve been super grateful for these reflections but also I was reminded that the feelings don’t leave just because time has moved on. If anything it was my life saying maybe it’s time to revisit old wounds and fully process them through.
Normally this is where you’d find me saying Breathwork or a facial is the tool… it is two of many tools I’d say. But Breathwork isn’t always the soft flowing gentle calm we encourage our ‘peaceful’ centre to be.
Sometimes it’s the big exhales, the heightened sequence of breaths collected to allow the body to feel deeper and deeper.
Ive recently challenged myself by switching up my physical training. One of the ways I’ve allowed my body to go deeper with my breathing is by practicing it in real life situations with exercise. Then when I feel activated by simulating a fight/flight response because of mouth breathing. I then coach my body through a serious of breathing techniques and mentally remind myself I am safe and retrain my body through different stimulation whether that be verbal, touch and other modalities. This is how I train my Breathwork clients.
What matters is that your nervous system is like a muscle… it thrives off training. Your system will always be scanning for a threat if that is all it knows. It’s trying to keep you safe and it’s doing its job. Your job is to decide if you want to train it into a new reality. ❤️
This is your reminder that regulation doesn’t always need an hour. Sometimes it starts with one conscious breath🌸
SAVE and SEND to a friend who would benefit from 1min of conscious breathing. 🫶✨
What’s more important… 🤷♀️
taking care of everyone or taking care of yourself?
This is something I’ve battled with for years. Stay with me as I share more about how I overcome guilt when it comes to self care.
P.s it’s not as daunting as we think. ❤️

Everyone talks about the freedom of running your own business.
Not many people talk about the days when you desperately want to show up, but you’re tired.
The days when your to-do list feels endless.
When the self-doubt is loud.
When motivation is nowhere to be found.
When you’re balancing work, family, responsibilities, and trying to keep your own head above water.
The truth is, being a business owner isn’t waking up inspired every day.
Some days it’s replying to that email when you’d rather hide.
Some days it’s posting anyway when no one seems to be engaging.
Some days it’s taking one small step forward while carrying the weight of a hundred other things.
I’ve learned that motivation doesn’t always come first.
Sometimes you take the action before the motivation arrives.
Sometimes the win isn’t launching something huge.
Sometimes the win is simply not giving up on yourself.
So if you’re in a season where you’re trying your best, showing up imperfectly, and wondering if it’s enough...
It is.
Keep going.
Your future is being built in the quiet moments nobody sees.
One post.
One conversation.
One small step at a time.
Progress doesn’t always look powerful. 💪🏽
Sometimes it looks like showing up anyway. ❤️
