Police officer spent his lunch break with a homeless woman, sharing stories over pizza This police officer bought lunch for a homeless woman and sat down for a meal with her. A photo of their heartwarming encounter has gone viral.

Due to the current health issues occurring within society, BARBERAid will not be attending tomorrow night or Wednesday weeks events. We apologise for the inconvenience.

We are here Greenbank RSL for their Leukemia Foundation Shave for a Cure from 11am to 1pm. They have a great setup in the Sports Bar with amazing smoked meats and cold b**r. Will be a great event.

BARBERAid is supporting the team at Greenbank RSL with their 2020 Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave on March 15th between 11am to 1pm in the Sports Bar.

Come to this great event and support them as they shave and colour their hair raising much needed funds. While their enjoy the hospitality on the Greenbank RSL.

On the fringes: How connecting with others helps heal the homeless Rarely seen and often ignored, those who have experienced homelessness say a community-run event that allows them to get free medical check ups and hair cuts has given them an avenue to feel connected and share their stories of survival.

Today a team of Barbers from BARBERAid worked tirelessly for 3 and a half hours straight looking after those who are vulnerable within our community. Some people coming from Brisbane to be looked after by community groups who cares for their welfare. A special mention must go to Wendy who is a Barber BUT with no hairdressers in our team today Wendy was able to look after our female friends. She worked tirelessly with not a break and all with a smile on her face.
