Clinical Strength. Remarkably Gentle. Truly Transformative. Our approach is system-led, not trend-led. Website: https://www.skinvirtue.com.au/

Skin Virtue is a Bioactive Cosmeceutical skincare brand for sensitive, problem-prone, and ageing skin. Skin Virtue is a clinically intelligent, high-performance bioactive cosmeceutical system for sensitive, sensitised, blemish-prone and ageing skin. Engineered for controlled correction, Skin Virtue combines advanced active ingredients, delivery-system intelligence and barrier-intelligent formulation architecture to support visible clarity, luminous radiance, refined texture, firmer-looking skin and healthier-looking skin quality without unnecessary irritation. Skin type determines the core pathway, visible concerns refine the routine, and each product is selected for its active function and intended cosmetic outcome. OUR SYSTEMS

The Clarity System, Super Clear Collection
For oily and combination skin, including skin that is congested, blemish-prone, shiny, uneven-looking or prone to reduced tolerance under harsh active routines. This system supports clearer-looking skin, balanced-looking oil flow, refined-pores and smoother texture without stripping or unnecessary irritation. The Barrier Recovery System, Pure Nourish Collection
For normal and dry skin, including dehydration, reduced comfort, impaired moisture retention and compromised-looking barrier performance. This system supports hydration continuity, healthier-looking skin, improved comfort and a more resilient-looking skin appearance. Longevity Treatments, Future Advanced Collection
A concern-led specialist treatment layer for all skin types where visible ageing, reduced radiance, uneven-looking tone, fine lines, wrinkles, firmness loss, crepey-looking texture or reduced visible skin quality are present. This system supports luminous radiance, brighter-looking tone, visible firmness, smoother-looking texture and refined skin quality. OUR DIFFERENCE

Skin Virtue sits in the specialist space between generic cosmeceutical intensity and passive sensitive-skin care. We do not believe visible results should depend on unnecessary skin stress, harsh active stacking or prolonged irritation cycles. Our formulations are built around controlled correction, sensitive compatibility, active-function logic and advanced delivery systems, so skin can pursue visible improvement while maintaining balance, comfort and tolerance. OUR PURPOSE

Skin Virtue exists for skin that needs visible performance, but does not respond well to aggressive routines. Through skin-type-led systems and bioactive formulation intelligence, we help support clearer-looking, brighter-looking, firmer-looking and more refined skin without unnecessary irritation.

If oily skin feels tight after cleansing, look at the cleanse.

That tight feeling does not automatically mean your skin has become dry.

Oily and combination skin can still become dehydrated or uncomfortable, particularly when cleansing becomes too aggressive or the routine becomes overloaded.

A cleanser still needs to remove sunscreen, makeup, excess oil and daily impurities effectively.

But the goal should be clean skin, not stripped skin.

If oily or combination remains your underlying skin type, Super Clear Cleanse is the first cleansing step in the Skin Virtue Super Clear Collection.

Start with Super Clear Cleanse:

The loudest symptom isn’t always the best guide.

When skin starts behaving differently, most of us react to whichever change is easiest to see.

More oil? Something stronger.
Tightness? A richer moisturiser.
Congestion? Another active.

But those changes can happen together.

An oily or combination baseline can still feel tight or dehydrated, so one new symptom does not necessarily mean the whole routine needs to change.

Sometimes the most useful decision is to keep the right foundation and adjust only what has genuinely changed.

What skin change usually gets your attention first?

07/10/2026

Can oily skin also be dehydrated or feel tight?
Absolutely.

You can notice more oil, more congestion and still feel as though your skin is tighter or less comfortable than usual.

Those things are not mutually exclusive.

Your skin type gives you the starting point. What your skin is doing today helps you understand whether anything in the routine actually needs adjusting.

That is an important distinction, because a temporary change in skin behaviour does not necessarily mean your entire routine needs to change with it.

For an oily or combination baseline, the Super Clear Collection remains the Skin Virtue Core System: https://www.skinvirtue.com.au/pages/super-clear-collection-clear-sensitive-skin-skin-virtue?utm_source=fb_page&utm_medium=Skin+Virtue&utm_campaign=publer

Have you ever had your skin feel oily and tight at the same time?

Read more about why warmer weather can change the way oily and combination skin behaves: https://www.skinvirtue.com.au/blogs/the-sensitive-skin-standard/is-your-skin-breaking-out-more-now-the-weather-is-warmer?utm_source=fb_page&utm_medium=Skin+Virtue&utm_campaign=publer

02/10/2026

Your skin doesn’t have a summer setting.

Warmer weather arrives and skin may suddenly look shinier, feel different or become more congested.

That does not automatically mean your underlying skin type has changed.
The better question is:
What changed around it?

Perspiration, sunscreen, environmental exposure and the way products are being layered can all influence how the skin presents.

Sometimes the clue is not in your skin. It is in everything your skin has been dealing with.

Gary Williams explains why in today’s Founder Video.

Can oily skin feel tight and congested at the same time?
Absolutely.

That does not mean your skin has suddenly changed type.

Oily and combination skin can still become dehydrated, feel tight or become less comfortable while continuing to produce oil and develop congestion.

This is where changing everything can make the problem harder to understand.
Instead:

- Read the behaviour.
- Keep the baseline.
- Refine with purpose.

If your underlying skin type remains oily or combination, the Skin Virtue Super Clear Collection remains the Core System. Then refine according to what the skin needs now.

More congestion does not automatically mean you need stronger skincare.

When skin becomes shinier, more congested or less predictable, it is easy to start adding more correction.

But that can quickly become too much.

If your baseline is still oily or combination, the better approach is to understand what has changed in the skin’s current behaviour before rebuilding the routine.

Warmer weather, perspiration, sunscreen use and environmental build-up can all influence how the skin presents.

Read the behaviour. Keep the baseline. Refine with purpose.

For oily and combination skin, the Super Clear Collection remains the Skin Virtue Core System when the baseline still fits: https://www.skinvirtue.com.au/pages/super-clear-collection-clear-sensitive-skin-skin-virtue?utm_source=fb_page&utm_medium=Skin+Virtue&utm_campaign=publer

Is Your Skin Breaking Out More Now the Weather Is Warmer? 29/09/2026

Is your skin suddenly looking more congested now that the weather is warmer?

It is easy to assume that a change in breakouts means you need to change your whole routine.

Not necessarily.

Your skin can behave differently while your underlying skin type remains the same.

If you are still fundamentally oily or combination, increasing congestion does not automatically mean starting again.

It means understanding what has changed and keeping the routine aligned to the correct baseline.

Our latest article explains the difference.

Is Your Skin Breaking Out More Now the Weather Is Warmer? Why warmer weather can increase visible oil, congestion and breakouts, plus a four-step Super Clear routine for oily and combination skin.

Your Core System is the foundation.

But once that foundation is right, you may still want to target specific visible signs of ageing.

Fine lines. Firmness. Radiance. Texture. More even-looking tone.

That is where Skin Virtue Future Advanced fits.

Rather than rebuilding the entire routine, Future Advanced allows you to introduce targeted skincare with a specific purpose.

Keep the foundation. Target the signs of ageing with purpose.

I think we give skin a new identity far too quickly.

It feels tight for a few days and suddenly it’s “dry skin”.

A couple of blocked pores and apparently it’s now “oily”.

Sometimes the more useful question is simply:
What changed before your skin did?

That could be your routine, the weather, too many actives, travel, stress, or just too much going on at once.

That’s really what this week’s Skin Virtue video is about.

Less panic. More perspective.

Has your skin actually changed, or is it behaving differently?

Oily or combination skin can still feel tight or dehydrated.

Normal or dry skin can still experience congestion.

And sensitivity does not automatically mean dry.

That is why a sudden change in how your skin feels should not automatically trigger a completely new routine.

Before changing everything, ask a much more useful question:
What changed before your skin did?

- New products?
- More actives?
- Weather?
- Travel?
- A change in routine?

We’ve explored the difference between skin type and skin behaviour in this week’s Skin Virtue article.
