Bubka started because of my struggle with breastfeeding and pumping 🤍

When I became a mum, I quickly realised how overwhelming breastfeeding and pumping could feel, throw in an undiagnosed tongue tie in the mix and things were pretty bleak for us.

The feeds, washing, the pumping at all hours and trying to leave the house with everything packed. It was a lot. The more mums I spoke to, the more I realised so many of us were struggling with the same things.

That’s why we started Bubka. An Aussie family business focused on making pumping and feeding feel simpler and more supportive for mums everywhere.

Today, Bubka products are designed to genuinely help mums on the go, including our newest launch… the Bubka Glow ✨

Coffee is everything 💪

When it comes to coffee and breastfeeding though, current guidelines say up to around 200mg of caffeine per day is generally considered safe while breastfeeding, roughly 1–2 coffees depending on how strong your barista makes them 😅

And honestly, when bub is learning to sleep, coffee can feel less like a drink and more like a survival strategy.

The biggest thing? Balance it with hydration 💧Breastfeeding can make you extra thirsty, so try keep your water intake up alongside the caffeine hit.
But remember, while coffee is fine, running purely on iced lattes and crumbs from your toddler’s snack plate is less than ideal and TRUST ME, I’ve been there.

Every mum and bub is different too, with different dietary requirements, some babies can be a little more sensitive to caffeine and other foods that mum consumes, so it’s always worth keeping an eye on how your bub responds ❤️
