We often describe MERON as the feeling you get standing in a medieval Armenian cathedral - the cold coolness of the ancient stone, coupled with a source of light and warmth from the oculus.

This gorgeous shot is from the 13th century Noravank Cathedral in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province and it couldn’t be more perfect to illustrate this feeling.
