A Milestone worth celebrating & a FIRST for Tasmania! 💫

This week Pro-Dig Earthworks took delivery of our 50th Kobelco Excavator!

18 years ago our driven & energetic earthmoving director (Callum) walked into the local Kobelco dealer DLM machinery in Launceston eager to purchase a machine.

‘I instantly struck a connection with DLM owner Dave & his family orientated business & the rest is history…..

‘The Kobelco brand has served our business model extremely well over the years & we are proud to achieve this milestone for both the DLM family along with our Pro-Dig team’

A little present for Jon! 🎁 🤩

A few weeks back we took delivery of this new SK75-7 Kobelco Excavator.

The 3rd of this size to enter the Pro-Dig Earthworks fleet, equipped with a Doherty tilt Hitch & full bucket package.

Jon put the machine straight to work on a civil plumbing project in the north of Tas.

The Princess Theatre like never before…. 🎭

This Historic Theatre in central Launceston is receiving a once in a lifetime multi million dollar upgrade.

The Pro-Dig Earthworks team have teamed up with Fairbrother Construction & are challenged with the delicate & intricate operation inside this building which is well over 100 years old.

But don’t worry.. Excavation works are undertaken preserving the existing building & its heritage features.
Pictured is the soon to be underfloor basement area & access lift.

In a first for Tasmania, We have fitted our machinery with ‘Ravex exhaust filtration systems’.
This industry leading technology removes 95% of diesel particulate to keep all workers safe whilst operating inside the theatre.

Another challenging project for our professional work team & one we are very proud to deliver.

Set for completion 2027

Hoblers netball history for over 40 YEARS….. 🏐 💫

Local Tasmanians have been playing netball at this center for well over 40 years. The history of the centre is rich & the community asset is now getting an exciting upgrade! 👏

2 x netball court replacements are underway 🚧

Teaming up with GLB Constructions to deliver this project to the Tasmanian community.

Set for completion late 2026… Let’s get into it! 🤝

We have been patiently awaiting a break in the Tassie weather…. And we finally got it!

To all our CYCLIST & Motoring friends… Please enjoy this new section of freshly sealed road along Rosevears stunning riverfront. 🚲 🚗 🤩

Please note that NOT ALL road is completed. There is still a small section of gravel road set for completion very soon.

Another great asset to the local community & one we are extremely proud of.

NEW 1650 dozer delivery this week! 🎁

It’s always an exciting time handing over a new piece of plant to the team!
‘Sam’ is pretty pumped to put the new dozer to work in our landfill operations division & couldn’t wait to place his name on the side of the machine! 🪏

Complete with multi shank rippers & a PAT blade, The 1650L will be a welcome addition to our ever growing fleet here at Pro-Dig Earthworks.

The team have recently completed a stormwater leechate sump system in the north of Tasmania.

This pit enables sediment runoff & larger particles to be captured, filtered & removed from entering adjacent stormwater systems. 💧 ♻️
