Our History, Our Identity, Our Rights 🇲🇲🕊️
The Rohingya are not newcomers to Myanmar. We have a long history in Arakan (Rakhine), with generations of our people living there as part of the region’s diverse society.
Our identity and history cannot be erased by displacement, discrimination, or denial. Many Rohingya held Myanmar citizenship and national identity before the discriminatory policies that stripped millions of us of our rights.
We are asking for what every human being deserves: recognition, citizenship, equality, dignity, justice, and the right to return safely to our ancestral homeland.
We remember our history. We preserve our identity. We stand for our rights.
Rohingya history cannot be erased.,
