Elevate your feet
We spend most of our day with our feet below the level of our heart. This challenges the flow of blood from the legs. Put your feet up throughout the day to help the blood flow from the legs. Sit with your feet up on a desk. Lie on your back with your legs up a wall, or raise the foot of your bed by six inches for extra drainage of the blood.

Eat a healthy diet
Eating a nutritious diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein will power the muscles of your legs and improve your circulation.

Refresh your legs
After a long tiring day, or during warm weather, refresh your legs with a cool shower. Avoid lengthy exposure to heat like sunbathing, hot baths and saunas as this can lead to dilated veins and swollen legs.

Moisturize your feet properly
If you’re planning on using any old cream you have lying around the bathroom on your feet, think again! Moisturizers and creams are all formulated with special needs in mind – if it’s a hand cream, it’s designed to be used there, and not on your feet.

Take care of your nails
It might seem obvious, but your toenails need trimming frequently – though you can keep them at a length that suits you. If you’re a sporty type, toenails should be trimmed shorter, as then they won’t constantly rub up against the point of your shoes while running.
Toenails are thicker and more brittle than fingernails, so soaking your feet before trimming your nails will make the job easier and will prevent them from splitting. Try to clip them straight across to avoid painful ingrown toenails, Always use a special toenail clipper and a proper nail file.

Soak your feet regularly
Take a bath or soak your feet in warm water in a foot tub or a bathtub for 10 to 15 minutes to help soften the skin. For a special feet treat, you can also add a few drops of tea tree oil or use salts, which will help you relax and add to your foot bath experience. Make the moment yours!

Use a body oil
Moisturizing is just as important in summer as in winter. It feels lighter and softer and leaves a nice, subtle sheen to legs. You can add ingredients for natural SPF, to improve cellulite or just make you smell like your favorite latte. For a fun look, make your own shimmer lotion.

Exfoliate
One of the keys to getting that “glow” is through regular exfoliation. Sun, salt and chlorine can lead to dry, scaly legs. Show your legs some love by whipping up a simple sugar or salt scrub to remove dead skin. Keep it in your shower and you can use it all summer long.

Do a dry-brush ritual
In the morning before you shower, gently run an exfoliating brush over your legs. Not only does this lift away dulling, dry flakes—the type that make your legs look meh—but it also stimulates your circulation and gets your blood flowing so you feel energized and alive.

Do explosive movements
Your body is the most powerful piece of equipment with which you’ve been blessed. By exploding through your legs, the muscles in your quads, hamstrings and glutes work extra hard to propel your beautiful self up, all while building muscle and shaping your legs and b***y. Because your body in itself is a tool, you can explode anywhere and everywhere.
