The strongest people are often the ones who smile through the hardest days. 💔❤️

Behind some smiles are silent battles, sleepless nights, hidden tears, and prayers whispered when no one is watching. Not everyone who looks happy is free from pain. Some people choose to smile not because life is easy, but because they've decided not to let their struggles define them.

So be kind. Be patient. Check on the people who always say, "I'm okay." Sometimes the strongest hearts are carrying the heaviest burdens.
And if you're one of those people, don't give up. Your story isn't over. God sees every tear, hears every prayer, and in His perfect time, He will turn your pain into a testimony. 🙏❤️

Keep smiling. Keep believing. Keep going. Your breakthrough is closer than you think. ✨

💧 Respect Your Fluid Limit – Every Sip Matters 💙

As a dialysis patient, water is no longer something I can drink without thinking. Every extra sip stays in my body because my kidneys cannot remove it effectively.

Too much fluid can lead to:
Swelling of the feet, hands, and face.
Difficulty breathing due to fluid in the lungs.
High blood pressure.
Extra strain on the heart.
Painful dialysis sessions because more fluid has to be removed.
Respecting my daily fluid allowance is not punishment—it's part of staying alive and healthy. Self-control today means fewer complications tomorrow.

To everyone living with kidney disease: measure your drinks, avoid unnecessary thirst, and remember that every sip counts. Discipline is one of the strongest medicines we have.
Protect your heart. Protect your lungs. Protect your life. Respect your fluid intake. 💙🩺

As a kidney patient, the journey has not been easy, but I thank God for the strength to keep going. Through pain, challenges, tears, and uncertainty, I never gave up.

Turning 37 is a reminder that every day is a gift, every scar tells a story, and every struggle can inspire someone else to keep fighting.

EPISODE 9 | Living With Kidney Disease & Still Showing Up Through Sports ❤️🏃‍♂️

People see the smile, the volunteering, and the love I have for sports… but behind it is a journey many don’t know about.
Living with kidney disease is not easy. Some days are painful, exhausting, and emotionally draining. But sports gave me something powerful — purpose, family, and hope.
Volunteering in sports reminds me that even while fighting my own battles, I can still make an impact, inspire others, and be part of something bigger than myself.

I may be going through dialysis, struggles, and challenges, but I refuse to let my condition stop my passion. Every event I volunteer in is proof that strength is not about having an easy life — it’s about continuing despite the pain.
This is more than sports for me.
It’s healing.
It’s purpose.
It’s my story. ❤️

I may not have everything figured out right now, but I believe God is writing my story.
Just like Joshua was introduced to Moses, may God connect me to the right people, the right opportunities, and the right doors this month.
I refuse to give up because my situation is not my final destination.
Every struggle, every tear, and every challenge is preparing me for something greater.
My breakthrough is coming.
My story will change.
And one day, I will look back and thank God for never leaving me. 🙏✨

Episode 8: Walking Through Pain

Hi… my name is Arie.
This is not just a story… this is my life.
Every day, I wake up knowing my body is fighting me. I have a kidney problem… and it’s not just about the pain inside — it’s about everything that comes with it.

The hardest part?
Dialysis.
It’s not something I can skip. It’s something I need to survive. But getting there… is a journey on its own. Some days, I don’t have money for transport.
So I walk.
I walk while I’m tired…
I walk while I’m in pain…
I walk knowing my body is already weak.
And sometimes, I ask myself…
“How much longer can I keep doing this?”

But I still go. Because I want to live.
There are days I feel like giving up.
Days when the pain, the stress, and the financial burden all come at once.
Dialysis is not just physically draining… it’s emotionally and financially exhausting too.
I’m sharing this not for pity…

But because I need help.
I want to keep fighting.
I want to keep showing up for my life.
But I can’t do it alone anymore.
If you’re watching this… and you feel my story…
Please help me.
Any support — big or small — can make a difference. It can help me get to dialysis… it can help me stay alive.

This is my journey.
And I’m still here… still fighting… still hoping.
Thank you for listening.

Episode 7 What People Don’t See

People see me smile.
People see me post.
People see me showing up.
But what they don’t see…
is the exhaustion that lives in my bones.
The nights when sleep refuses to come because pain is louder than rest. The moments I sit quietly, fighting battles I don’t talk about. They don’t see the fear before dialysis. The needles. The waiting.
The way time feels heavier when your life depends on a machine.

They don’t see the tears I wipe away before I say, “I’m okay.”
They don’t see how much strength it takes just to wake up and choose life again.
But I’m still here.
Still breathing.
Still believing.
This journey has taught me that strength isn’t loud.
Sometimes, strength is simply surviving another day in silence.

If you’re fighting something people don’t see I see you.
You are not weak. You are brave.
This is The Journey with Arie: Strength in Every Step.
Follow for tomorrow’s journey 💙

EPISODE 6: Hope Beyond Illness

Illness tried to define me, but it did not finish me.
Being a kidney patient changed my body, but it also revealed my strength. It taught me patience, gratitude, and the power of hope. I learned that even in pain, life can still be meaningful.

My dreams did not die they only changed shape. I still believe in love, purpose, and a future filled with light. As long as I wake up each day, there is hope waiting for me.
I may be living with kidney failure, but I refuse to live without hope. My story is not about sickness it is about survival, faith, and courage.

If you are reading this and feeling tired, hold on. Your tomorrow still matters.

EPISODE 5 : She Held My Hand While I Fought to Live

There was a time I was afraid to sleep, because I didn’t know how my body would feel when I woke up.
Kidney disease entered my life quietly, but it changed everything loudly. My strength faded, my routine disappeared, and my dreams felt like they were slipping away. But in the middle of all that pain, there was one small hand that never let go of mine.

My daughter.
When I was diagnosed, she was preparing for her Grade 7 exams. She was still a child, yet life asked her to be brave. She cried when she thought I wasn’t looking. She smiled when she saw me watching. I didn’t always have the strength to explain what was happening to my body, so sometimes I spoke with my hands, my eyes, and my prayers.

I watched her carry books while I carried fear.
Some days, the hospital took more from me than I could give. But every time I felt like giving up, I remembered that she was watching me learn how to survive. I prayed not just to be healed but to live long enough to see her future.
God heard us.

She passed her exams. And in that moment, I realized something powerful: my illness did not destroy her childhood it shaped her strength. And her strength keeps me alive.
Today, I am still fighting. Dialysis is not easy. Some days my body is tired, and my heart is heavy. But I wake up because she needs me. I breathe because she believes in me. I keep going because love gives strength when the body has none.

If you are reading this, I ask for your prayers.
If you can support, please do.
If you cannot, your kind words are enough.
This is not a story of giving up.
It is a story of a mother still standing because her daughter is holding her hand.
