Flip your product over and look for the little open jar symbol. The number beside it (6M, 12M, 24M) tells you how many months it's at its peak after opening. Pair that with smart storage and your favourites stay fresh longer. 🌿
Quick tip: write the opening date on the bottom with a marker. ✍️
Oil and water aren't the same thing when it comes to your skin. 💧 Oily skin makes plenty of sebum but can still be dehydrated, especially in Calgary's dry indoor air, and tight, stripped skin means a stressed barrier.
You don't need a heavy cream. Try a lightweight gel moisturizer, or a linoleic-rich oil like rosehip, on damp skin after cleansing. 🌿

If it feels too heavy, clogs your pores, or doesn't fit your values, plant oils can do a lot of the same work. Shea butter for deep comfort on dry skin, rosehip for a lighter feel that supports the barrier, and jojoba, which is similar to the oil your skin makes. 🌿
