This week’s local love is going to one of Auburn Bay’s sweetest small businesses - Sweet Caroline’s! 🍩🍦🧁

If you know Sweet Caroline’s, you know Caroline Thiessen doesn’t just make AMAZING baked goods… she has a pretty big heart, too.

☀️ In the summer, you can find her selling her seriously delicious ice cream sandwiches right from her driveway - because Auburn Bay needed its own little ice cream destination.

🍩 But what we really love about Sweet Caroline’s is how much she gives back. When someone in the community is going through a difficult time, Caroline will often organize a fundraiser, making hundreds of homemade donuts with the proceeds going directly to the person or family who needs a little extra help.

🥫 She also regularly accepts food bank donations in exchange for her baked goods, then takes those donations to her church’s free pantry to help make sure food gets to people who need it.

That’s the kind of small business we LOVE cheering for. ❤️

It’s not just about buying a donut or an ice cream sandwich. It’s about supporting a neighbor who is constantly finding ways to support other neighbors.
