when i was a kid, i always dreamed of becoming a mom & then in my mid twenties i was blessed to become one — when my oldest son was 9 months old, i was craving connection and purpose outside of being a mom. so, i took $3000 out of our savings account and took a brow course.

it was humbling, to say the least. i thought because i knew so many people, so many women, and everyone needs their brows done, i’d have a line up at the door 😂 WRONG. but don’t worry, i still love my family and friends (and i appreciate those who did choose to support my not so skilled version of who i am now) although most of my support came from complete strangers.

over time, ALMOST 4 years?! how the heck did that happen? i’ve created a business that now flourishes in the way i always prayed it would, and the way in which i designed it to — one where i could still be a present mom, the one who raises our children and doesn’t have to trust a complete stranger with them instead, while also building my own dream, my own career and one that still hasn’t even fully peaked.

at the end of 2024, we brought our second son into the mix & to my OWN surprise, i chose to get back to worth only 3 months postpartum. because i seriously love what i do so much.

it’s messy, some days my nervous system is in shambles, but it’s always worth it & im proud to share it with anyone who asks.

and because i’ve done it, i fully believe in others to do it too.

which is why i’ve poured everything i know, have learned & what works into an intensive 1:1 masterclass to give other moms the opportunity to do the same 🎓

keep showing up 🫵🏽 eventually it all pays off!

i’ll never forget when someone so close to me asked me “do you think this business still makes sense?” i think i was on year 2, things were slow and i had huge dreams of what LBR could become — some of them that i get to live in now & some that are still being built.

the key is this 🔑 i always operated this business the very same, at high excellence and consistency, when i had 2 clients & now with hundreds of clients.

i knew one day that it would all pay off — the practice, the losses, the talking to myself & content i spent hours on that got me 3 likes and 4 unfollows LOL
