found me on Instagram… while filming Season 2 of right here in Nova Scotia.
We turned her into a true luxurious brunette, her first time ever going full brunette. I installed custom K-tip bonds matched to her exact natural density. She told me she’s never loved her hair this much because it finally looks and felt like hers.
She also said something that stuck with me. She couldn’t have gotten a service like this in LA.
You don’t need a big city to do big things. You need to put your heart into the chair, master your craft, and yes, put your location in your Instagram bio. That’s literally how she found me.
At the end of the day, she’s just a girl who needed her hair done. And I got to be the one who helped her. 🫶🏼🤍

The behind the scenes nobody tells you about: the yapping.
You sit down, we get into it. Your colour stories, your installs, the client you're stressed about, the business stuff you can't say out loud to anyone who doesn't get it.
Hours go by and it feels like ten minutes.
That's what learning from someone who's actually in it feels like. Not a course. A conversation.
The blends, the extension resources, the education, it's all built for the stylist who's done figuring it out alone.
Pull up a chair. Let's yap.

2–4 complementary tones, already balanced, ready to layer.

and she still showed up wanting more than a technique.
we talked a lot about critical thinking. about understanding the why so deeply that when something doesn’t go perfectly, and sometimes it won’t, she already knows how to work through it.
that’s the goal. not dependency on me. not “text tara when it goes sideways.” even though she can if necessary.
a foundation strong enough that she can troubleshoot, adapt, and make it her own.
she’s reinventing her clientele after two decades in this industry. and she’s doing it with the kind of confidence that only comes from actually understanding what you’re doing.
that’s what this mentorship is built for.
