Us women are really good at:
šš»telling our husbands what to do
šš»telling them how to do things
šš»telling them why were right and theyāre wrong
šš»telling them how they need to act and what they need to say
šš»what time they need to be places
šš»how they need to drive
šš»what they need to do at work to succeed
The list goes onā¦.
But if you find that youāre this type of person (tbh, most of us women are) and that your marriage is not where you want it to be and that your husband is angry a lot.
Well⦠Iām here to tell you, it may not be him, and it may actually be you.
Your husband hates being controlled. Maybe he takes it really well and you donāt notice. But he hates it.
Something that can strengthen your marriage and make it more peaceful is:
Holding. Your. Tounge.
Ladies, I know itās so hard. Iām the first one that will admit that. But giving up my controlling attitude has produced such abundant fruit. Instead of telling my husband what to do, I try to use language that is trusting instead. Such as:
I trust you.
Whatever you think.
Youāre doing a great job.
Youāre so smart!
Try it out and tell me about the fruit itās producing š

Monday morning ponderings
*please donāt take this out of context, I know and realize that some sins are far worse than others, however when you focus on your own, you will have so much more peace in your marriage.*

Motherhood is where selfishness dies.
Iām currently holding a sick 2 month old who canāt sleep or breathe unless heās upright due to his cold. If this is you too, youāre not alone ā¤ļø.
This year was a new level up for me. Iāve never had so little sleep, Iāve never dealt with so much crankiness and tears (both from the toddler and newborn), and Iāve never felt so close to a breakdown without actually having one.
There has been so many days in the last couple of months where Iāve thought āI canāt do this anymoreā. Yet, by the grace of God, Iām still doing it.
I have been learning more than ever before to offer up my suffering so that God may use it for some good. This is whatās so amazing about the Christian life⦠no suffering has to be wasted. United to the cross, it can help you and others become more like Christ.
Having this at the forefront of my mind when Iām so utterly exhausted makes the suffering just a little more tolerable.
Not every mother will choose to embrace the suffering and die to self for their children, but I believe that if we embrace motherhood in its fullness, itās the perfect path to helping us women become holy.
So happy Motherās Day to all the tired mammas out there who are doing the difficult work for their families ā¤ļø you are priceless.

Mindset change-
You know when I started exercising more?
When I started approaching it with ādo I want to be happy and feel better about myself today?ā
Instead of
āUgh, Iāve gained a lot of weight in pregnancy and Iād like to lose it but itās so much workā
Try switching your thoughts and let me know if it works for you!
You can do it, mama, youāre worth it and will feel so much better ā¤ļø

If your days consist of changing diapers, feeding little mouths, trying to make time to brush your teeth, washing dishes, and then offering it all to our good Jesus, then youāre doing the good work ā¤ļø
Life with babies is hard. You almost become like a cloistered nun or a kind of hermit for awhile. Leaving the house is often too difficult or not possible so you stay inside your four walls trying to take care of the little ones youāre responsible for. You long to go outside or to do something else while simultaneously loving your life.
You cry because the time is moving too fast and then you cry because the time is moving too slow.
Itās a difficult journey to be on but never doubt that itās bearing much fruit ā¤ļø

Welcome to the church my sweet boy ā¤ļø.
Gabriel got baptized on this beautiful sunny day today!
Feeling So grateful that we get to give our children the gift of faith from the very beginning of their lives. Some people will tell you that you should let your children āchoose for themselvesā when they get older. But just as we choose what they eat, where they go to school, what they learn, how theyāre disciplined, we will also choose their religion because we are their parents.
We have the great responsibility to show our children what is right and what is wrong. To lessen their confusion and not to increase it.
So happy baptism day Gabriel ā¤ļø. May you always love Christ above everything!

William is slowly warming up to his brother ā¤ļø.
Never mind toys, a beautiful house, even a farm with lots of animals.. I believe that one of the greatest gifts you can give your children is the gift of siblings.
I have always said that my 2 greatest blessings growing up were being raised in the faith and being raised with 8 other siblings.
I know that it can be hard to be open and generous with your fertility sometimes⦠I only have two kids so I canāt imagine having 9 š³. But I promise you that your children will thank you one day and that God will bless you for your sacrifice in being open and generous.
My sisters are some of my best friends and I canāt imagine life without them ā¤ļø

When I was in labour with Gabriel I had a moment where I started to cry and become super overwhelmed at the thought of having two babies.
Questions like āhow will I love two of them? Wonāt I love Gabriel less? Or will I love William less?ā flooded my mind.
But the last few days of having these two have shown me that, as a parent, your love is multiplied. I find that I actually love William more then I used to, and I love Gabriel just as much. My heart has truly been stretched and now I canāt imagine my life any other way.
