Hermit crabs are anomuran decapod crustaceans of the superfamily Paguroidea that have adapted to occupy empty scavenged gastropod shells to protect their fragile abdomens. There are over 800 species of hermit crab, most of which possess an asymmetric abdomen concealed by a snug-fitting shell.

Centipede 🐛
They are fast moving, predatory arthropods with elongated bodies, each segment bearing one pair of legs, giving them their name, though they never have exactly 100. They are carnivores that use venomous fangs to catch prey like insects and spiders and are found worldwide in moist environments, often hiding during the day and hunting at night. Key features include a flattened body, long antennae and a single pair of legs per segment, distinguishing them from millipedes.
