Harvested some St John’s Wort today, found a huge patch up the mountain, then went to the park and found another patch of catnip.

St John’s Wort is happiness in a flower, when you’re depressed this one can help. Make sure to use fresh/wilted as the medicinal properties evaporate when dried. Also good for herpes, like cold sores, shingles and good as a pain releaver. Many keep in their medicine cabinet, hence the name.

Then there’s catnip! The plant that makes cats crazy, but for us it’s calming and helps relieves anxiety.
