by gym. I would go for the interaction with others, as well as to improve my physical strength and psychological disposition. Despite my limited physical capacity at the time of my treatments, I would work out for hours on end. After a few weeks, I noticed that these modern day goliath’s were incurring injuries on a regular basis. A combination of my eagerness, and my caring nature, I attempted to help them with their injuries. I would go to the library to read up on their various ailments, and then put my new found knowledge into practice on my gym colleagues. I was surprised at the overwhelmingly positive response; I was even receiving phone calls to schedule treatments! This enlightened me to my gift, and set me on my path. I began my studies at Concordia University in Exercise Science. Mid-way through my degree, I began treating athletes, and patients with work related injuries. Shortly after, I realized that the Exercise Science program did not offer the knowledge and techniques that I was looking for. Having lived through it myself, I realized that I wanted to treat individuals with debilitating, and life threatening illnesses such as Cancer, Auto Immune Diseases, systemic and circulatory disorders. To pursue this, I enrolled in Massage Therapy School in Ottawa. 2 years later, I completed my degree and became a registered massage therapist.
