Still kind of crazy that I got to fly across the country with a backpack full of nails and work backstage on my first runway show.

Most of this trip was running around Montreal, meeting so many talented people, figuring things out as we went, and trying to take it all in between the chaos.

And a little reminder to take the chance and send the email. The worst they can say is no, and the best case might have you packing a backpack full of nails and flying across the country a few weeks later

So much of what I’ve gotten to do started with me just reaching out and asking.

This time last year was probably one of the worst times of my life. I was constantly getting stys from stress, I broke out in full body hives (from stress) everyday was like getting out of bed with my pockets full of rocks.

And if you know me you're probably think what the heck you did my nails, you taught you did this that and the next...

And that's the point you never know what someone's going through behind closed doors or what they're struggling with. Many people with mental health issues struggle to ask for help. September is su***de prevention month so take a minute to text a friend that you're there for them even if you don't think they need it.

And if you're reading this with dread it gets better it's crazy how much can change in a year. Take some time for yourself, change your work, where you live , change something even if it's moving from your bed to cry outside.

Life gets better and there's always someone who wants you here.
