A little makeup trick that can completely change the way you use your eyeshadows! ✨
Try wetting your brush before picking up your eyeshadow. It helps the colour go on more intensely and gives you a much sharper, more precise application—perfect when you want to use a shadow as eyeliner or create a more defined look.
One little trick, and suddenly your eyeshadow can do so much more! 🎨👁️
Have you tried applying your shadows this way?
You don’t always have to wipe off your daytime makeup and start all over again to create an evening look. 💄✨
In this video, I’m showing you how I take a simple daytime makeup look and transform it into something a little more dramatic and glam in just a few minutes.
A few strategic changes can make a BIG difference — without piling on a ton of product or completely redoing your face.
This is especially helpful when you’ve been out all day and suddenly realize you have somewhere to be that evening. 😅
Work → dinner.
Errands → date night.
Daytime → evening event.
Same base. Just a few simple adjustments. ✨
And yes… you can absolutely keep your real skin looking like real skin while adding a little more drama. 😉
✨ Natural N**e Lip — Mature Skin Edition ✨
One of my favourite ways to create a soft, natural n**e lip on mature skin is to think of the lips the same way I think about the face: dimension, blending, and balance.
I always start with well-hydrated lips, followed by a light layer of concealer to create an even base.
Then I use two tones of brown lip liner — a deeper, cooler brown on the outer portion and a softer, warmer brown to create a subtle gradient.
For mature lips, one of the little details I love is slightly overlining only the centre of the upper and lower lip, rather than taking the liner all the way around. I blend the edges inward so there isn’t an abrupt stopping point.
Next comes a soft pinky-n**e lipstick, applied with a lip brush so I can control exactly how much product I’m using without covering up all that dimension underneath.
I finish by redefining the deeper liner around the outer lip and adding just a touch of translucent n**e gloss to the centre.
The result is soft, natural and defined without looking heavy.
Simple. Elegant. Beautiful. 🤎

Who says mature-skin makeup has to be boring? 👀🖤
Bare face ➡️ one lash ➡️ a little transition magic ➡️ dramatic, cool-toned cat eye. ✨
At 45, I’m definitely not ready to play it safe with my makeup! 😉
Mature skin can still be bold, defined, glamorous and FUN. It’s not about hiding your skin — it’s about enhancing what you’ve got and having a little fun with it. 💋
Would you wear this dramatic cat-eye look?
🖤 A little more drama today…
I wanted to play with a more dramatic cat-eye shape, so I started with a soft ch*****ne shade across the entire lid and up toward the brow.
From there, I used a sharp angled brush to create the black cat-eye shape through the crease, extending it outward. I added a gorgeous copper shimmer between the lid and crease, then started softening and blending those edges.
For the lower eye, I smoked the black shadow about three-quarters of the way in, keeping the inner corner bright with that same ch*****ne shade. A little black liner in the waterline added even more intensity.
And because apparently I wasn’t done yet… 😂🖤
I went back in with more black to deepen the look, then diffused everything with a softer blending brush until the edges were smoky rather than harsh.
Dramatic, smoky, and definitely not an everyday eye — but that’s the fun of makeup! ✨
Would you wear a look like this?
In this video, I’m walking you through a simple, everyday makeup look while sharing some of the techniques I use to create a more balanced, defined finish. ✨
I’ll show you colour correction, contouring, and everyday makeup application — including how these techniques can subtly enhance your features without making your makeup feel heavy or overdone.
My approach is always about working with your natural skin and features, rather than covering everything up. 💄
