Sometimes the reason you feel unsure of yourself isn’t confusion, it’s adaptation.
You told yourself it wasn’t a big deal.
You stayed understanding.
You gave the benefit of the doubt longer than your body could handle.
Over time, that costs you access to yourself.
At some point, the question shifts.
From “What’s wrong with me?”
To “What did I have to ignore to stay?”
If this feels familiar, it makes sense.
And if you’re finding your way back to yourself, you don’t have to do that alone.
Your relationship didn't blindside you. Your body already knew before you did.
You shouldn’t ignore what your body is trying to tell you.
Most of the time, it knows before something major happens.
Chronic stress leads to chronic illness.
And when you live in constant stress, unhappiness, or emotional suffering, regret slowly builds inside the relationship.
And it’s not your fault.
Most of us don’t know any other way.
Feeling shame, guilt, or even failure is completely normal.
But those feelings are not who you are. And they do not define you or dictate the rest of your life.
We stay stuck because we start believing we don’t deserve better. We worry about what other people will think. But when you live like that, you’re not living for yourself. You’re living through someone else’s opinions of you and most of those thoughts aren’t true and don’t serve you.
The work starts within.
That’s how you create the relationship and the life you actually want to be living.
Life is already short. Don’t ignore the signals.
