So, how do you actually achieve 4+ week retention?
It comes down to a few important things:

1. Correct prep.
Prep does NOT mean filing the natural nail until there’s barely anything left of it. You need to understand the difference between mechanical and chemical prep and, more importantly, how to perform each safely.

2. Know your products.
Your base coat is one of the most important products in your system. You need to understand how it works, what its properties are, and which base is suitable for which nail.

3. Proper nail architecture.
A strong nail isn’t created by simply adding more product. The structure needs to be appropriate for the length and shape of the nail. A stiletto on a very short length is simply not a thing.

4. Design retention is a whole other ball game.
Being able to create a pretty design is nice, but can you make it last 4+ weeks without losing a single gem, with the chrome still intact and all your 3D elements staying in place?

Again, it comes down to knowing your products and understanding how to properly secure each element of the design.

And these are just a few of the things that can make or break your retention.

This is exactly what I teach in my “Foundational Nail Tech Course” — because learning how to create a beautiful set is one thing, but learning how to create a set that stays beautiful for weeks is another.

DM “COURSE” to receive all the details.

⚠️ One important thing though: lifting and breakage are not always the nail tech’s fault.

If a client comes for a refill late, uses their nails as tools, or wears a length that isn’t suitable for their lifestyle, even the best application may not result in perfect retention.

Good retention is a team effort — but it starts with proper technique.

Online or in-person nail courses — which one is actually better? 👀

The reality is, it really depends on where you are in your nail journey.

✨ If you’re a beginner: I strongly believe in-person training is essential. You need someone beside you to guide your hand, correct your technique, and catch the little details you might not even realize you’re doing wrong.

✨ If you’re an experienced nail tech: online courses can be an amazing way to keep learning. You have the flexibility to learn from different educators, focus on specific techniques, and refine the skills you already have.

If you’re looking to get started in your nail career, DM me “COURSE” to find out more about my FoundationalNail Tech Training 🔥

I’m not kidding 😅
So many of my clients refuse to share my info because they want to make sure I’ll still have spots for them.

So how do I have such strong client retention?

Of course, I deeply care about quality of my work, BUT what also matters to me is making sure every client feels comfortable and taken care of.

I get to know you individually and try to make your appointment fit what YOU need.

Need someone to listen? I’ll hold the space.
Want some quiet time? No problem.
Want to catch up on your favourite show? The TV is all yours 🙌
Have a million and one questions about nails? Ask away.

I truly believe that’s what my clients appreciate about my service, and the reason why they gatekeep me 🤭

Usually, my books are full with my regulars, but I have 5 spots open for NEW clients this month.

So if you’ve been looking for your new nail tech… this might be your chance to join the roster.

Can you believe that these girls had little to no previous experience working with nail products or tools, let alone learned all of these techniques in just 3 days!

You have to admit, these nails look better than what we see from a lot of professional nail salons 💁‍♀️

Because we pay attention to every single detail!

On the first day, after going through theory, students practice on tips and their own nails.

Then, on the following days, they work on 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 and get to actually apply everything they’ve learned.

And this is exactly why I don’t believe in courses that only offer practice on fake hands or fake nails.

You can learn the technique, but when it comes to an actual client, you’ll struggle immensely if you’ve never practiced on real hands.

You need to understand how to work with different types of skin, how to hold your client’s fingers, how to pull the skin to achieve a clean manicure without causing damage, how to shape different types of nails, and so much more.

Real practice makes a difference.

If you’re interested in learning more about my trainings, DM “𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄” and I’ll send you all the details.
