Always start with freshly washed hair.

Then, protect your natural hair with a braid down and press your leave-out.

Alternatively, if you have extra time, you can straighten your entire hair.

Add your clip-ins row by row. And there you have it! Instant hair growth 🤎

FYI: Clip-ins are making a comeback this fall! 🍂

If you’re relying on your straightener to do all the work, you’re most likely using too much heat.

A good blow-dry will help smooth and stretch your hair, so by the time you start straightening, you’ll only need a single pass + less heat to get a good blend.

If you have dark hair and want to play it a little safer with color, warm to neutral browns are always a good place to start!

She has level 2/3 hair, so we used Espresso around her leave-out. If you want to try something similar without going too far from your natural shade, always choose a color that already has tones that’ll blend well with your natural hair. It makes the transition so much easier.

Ponytails are already cute, but faux highlights gave it that little something extra 😍

Such an easy way to switch things up without the commitment

Colors used: Bronde Balayage, Espresso Brown, and a hint of Silver Blondw

Bronde Balayage was made with our ash brown hair girls in mind. If your natural hair is deeper and you still want to try the look, we recommend adding Natural Black or Espresso Brown around your leave-out for the smoothest color transition.

We added a few tracks of Silver Blonde to give the blend a little more dimension, but you definitely don’t have to — Bronde Balayage already has Silver Blonde in it.

As always, we’re doing the most so you can see how different shades and mixes look across different skin tones and hair types. That will always be a priority for us.

Let us know what mix you want to see next!
