This is Christmas this year ❤️🤷‍♀️.

Baby girl needed some surgery and could not fly home. The plan was for Christmas so Baby boy went home. Mom went to Toronto. Dad stayed home.

So it’s a COVID bubble-like Christmas for the grrrl and I. And a guys’ Christmas for the men! Making memories all the same. 🎄🧑‍🎄❤️🧑‍🎄🎄

If you were a patient that was impacted by my sudden change of plans, thank you for your understanding and flexibility while I attended to my family in a scary time. We are well now and anticipate a full return to health very soon.

Happy Holidays from me to you! Hope to see you all in 2024!

This is a thing I do…currently not making new episodes and yet this podcast climbs in listens all the time! I’m definitely proud of what Susannah Steers and I created with those conversations we had, and reflect often on what we learned about health, what it is and how do we become healthier. Thanks everyone, for listening!

Thank you for listening!!

These people inspire me-the runners on a rainy morning, the volunteers (I hope they are warm!) and this musical group whose name I don’t know (corner of Burnaby and Beach, who are you?!)!

Some of these folks are regular runners, been doing it for years and it’s all business as usual with a whole bunch of other runners. If that’s you; way to be consistent with your movement!

For some, this is the first time they have entered a race. This is the first time they trained. Hopefully they used a couch to 10 km learn to run program. There is excellent evidence that these kinds of approaches allow for fewest injuries while building the capacity in your heart, lungs, metabolism, and muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and nerves. Hopefully they are having some fun on this rainy, but lovely morning, feeling the new strength in their bodies, the communion of this common experience, the joy of the cheers from spectators, volunteers and musical groups.

If you have a goal like this, and wonder how to approach it, a can help navigate the ups and downs of learning to run.

Way to go, !

This side project of mine! 💜

It’s still out there, getting traction, slowly but surely folks are still listening.

Susannah and I are so grateful for the listeners. We have been taking a wee hiatus to digest what we learned and allow ourselves some processing time but…we talk all the time about the conversations we want to have in the future.

If you have listened, thank you. If you have passed it on to someone who needed to hear it, thank you. If you have subscribed, thank you.
