Sometimes life writes a more beautiful itinerary than we ever could.
I came to Canada for my daughter’s engagement celebration… 💍🇨🇦
But what unfolded over the next two weeks became so much more.
I found myself immersed in the energy of the FIFA World Cup, cheering on both of my home teams—Canada 🇨🇦 and Portugal 🇵🇹—as they fought their way into the Round of 16.
In between the excitement, I carved out a sacred pause high above the clouds on Whistler Mountain, where I welcomed the Summer Solstice with a tea manifestation ritual—honouring stillness before the next chapter unfolds.
A reminder that life isn’t just about the destination.
It’s about saying yes to the unexpected moments that become the memories you’ll carry forever.
Now… let the knockout stage begin. ⚽✨
Which team are you cheering for?

Day 13 — I made it to Santiago ⛪️🇪🇸
Today was the most challenging day of the entire Camino. My ankle was swollen and, according to my doctor friend, I may have tendinitis.
I was in pain for the full 25km walk and had to stay completely focused just to keep moving forward. I started early at 8:15am and finally arrived in Santiago at 4:15pm.
The last hour was the hardest — the heat was intense, my energy was gone, and I truly felt like a pilgrim.
When I began this journey, I felt the shift into the next stage of my life — thinking deeply about where I want to live and what I want to do next.
Walking over 345km has given me so much time to reflect, and with that has come real clarity.
I’ve set strong intentions for the life I want using the power of manifestation to guide what comes next.
Santiago, you were earned

Day 12
I enjoyed my morning at the hotel before heading out for another 25Km walk.
There’s 2 days left and looking back, I can’t believe how far I’ve walked.
The Camino is a mirror of life. We have good days and challenging ones.
But somehow it all works out.

Day 11 ✨
Today was a real challenge, and I honestly wasn’t sure I’d make it. My feet were sore, and even though each kilometre marker felt like a small victory, the tiredness really set in.
The trail was flat today, winding through vineyards for the entire day. The sun was strong, and by the afternoon I was questioning how much further I could go.
Somehow, I kept going and finally arrived at my accommodation—a beautiful hotel with a thermal spring pool. I soaked my aching feet in the cold water and spent the evening relaxing on the peaceful grounds.
It’s hard to believe there are only 2 days of walking left. Almost there. 💛

Day 10
One of the things I look forward to at the end of each day is the walk up to my accommodation.
Tonight, I’m staying in a historic palace that has been converted into a hotel.
I love wandering through the halls, taking in the art and antiques throughout the property. It makes me wonder who has walked these same halls before me and what kind of events were once held here.
After a long day of walking, it feels like such a special treat.
Today’s walk took me through a beautiful forest filled with ponds, waterfalls, and some of the largest eucalyptus trees I’ve ever seen.
And if that sign is right… I’m only 65km away from Santiago.

Day 9
Everyday I’m getting closer.
I didn’t think I’d make it this far after a day 3 and around 95km. My feet were sore!
Somehow I keep smiling and walking.
Love from Spain xx

Day 7 + 8
Today felt calm.
The message I received on the walk was to be in the flow. I spent the day walking along the beach and found a spot to meditate. It felt amazing to feel the warm air on my face while listening to the ocean.
I was happy to arrive in Vigo, knowing the next day would be a rest day.

Day 6 ✨
I’ve officially walked over half of the Camino Portuguese Coastal route! Each day brings a new adventure as the path leads me through new towns, new views, and new connections.
The message I heard today was simple: be patient and go play.
So I did just that—stepping into the joy of the journey, appreciating the unique things I saw, and the wonderful people I met along the way.
I ended the day at a beautiful castle, spending the night inside an old fort. Such a magical place to rest and reflect. 🏰💫
