Great way to add something fun for the summer ☀️
Have you ever felt like you’re meant for something more?
I’ve carried that feeling with me for as long as I can remember.
Hairstyling has never been just about doing hair. It’s about creating a space where someone feels seen, heard, and cared for. It’s about the conversations, the confidence that returns when they look in the mirror, and the reminder that they matter.
But over the past few years, I’ve realized my purpose goes even deeper.
I’ve been on my own journey of healing, growing, and becoming the woman I know I’m capable of being. Through that process, I’ve discovered that confidence isn’t created by a hairstyle alone—it starts from within.
That’s why this business has become so much more than hair for me.
If you’ve been feeling that pull toward something bigger, don’t ignore it. Ask yourself:
What is my “more”?
What’s one small step I can take today toward becoming her?
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to begin.
Because you’re capable of far more than you believe.
✨ Here’s to becoming the woman you were always meant to be.

There is something so special about seeing the final look come to life. 🤍
One of my favourite things is when clients (or their photographers) take the time to send me their photos after the big day. Whether it’s a graduation or a wedding, I don’t always get to see everything come together, so receiving these moments means more than you know.
Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of such a memorable day—and thank you for sending these beautiful photos. You looked absolutely stunning. ✨
Congratulations again on your graduation! Wishing you so much success in this next chapter. 🤍

There was a season where I became obsessed with understanding myself.
During my journey of becoming Her, I read books, listened to podcasts, followed motivational speakers, and spent a lot of time looking inward.
Not just at the woman I had become…
but at the little girl I once was.
As my daughter turned five this year, memories of myself at that age started resurfacing. It made me realize that healing isn’t a destination—it’s a lifelong journey. There are still layers to uncover, and that’s okay.
About 18 months postpartum, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Suddenly, so many things about the way my brain worked finally made sense.
I learned that I didn’t need to change who I was.
I needed systems that worked for me.
So I started small.
Sticky notes on my bathroom mirror.
✨ I am beautiful.
✨ I am capable.
✨ I am worth it.
Simple reminders that slowly became beliefs.
If you’re wondering where to start, start here.
You don’t have to change your whole life overnight. One small reminder can become one small habit, and those habits can become a completely different version of you.
Three years later, I look back at that woman with so much compassion.
She had no idea how far she was about to come. 🫶🏻

Some months I’m more consistent than others… but I always come back to this. 🤍
I’ve been using most of these skincare products for almost 3 years, and every time my skin starts feeling dull, textured, or my pores become more noticeable, this simple routine helps bring it back to life.
For me, healthy skin comes first. Makeup is just the bonus… if I have time. 😂
Taking care of your skin isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a few quiet minutes for yourself every day. That’s self-care too. 🫶🏻
Find a routine that works for you, keep it simple, and stay consistent. Your future self will thank you.

Some moments don’t need explaining.
She couldn’t sit in the front row.
She couldn’t help me into my dress.
She couldn’t watch me say, “I do.”
But she was with me.
Pinned close to my heart, exactly where she’s always been.
There are moments in life that remind us love doesn’t end when someone is gone. It simply finds new ways to stay with us.
This photo isn’t just about my wedding day.
It’s about legacy.
It’s about carrying the people who shaped us into every new chapter we step into.
For anyone missing someone during a milestone… I see you. 🤍

There’s something so special about working with natural texture instead of against it. 🤍
These beautiful sisters and the most stunning natural ringlets, and I had the opportunity to enhance what was already there. Every curl had its own personality, creating soft, effortless movement that photographed beautifully.
It’s not every day I get to style naturally curly bridal hair, and this reminded me just how much I love it. Sometimes the most timeless look is simply embracing the beauty you already have.
If you’re dreaming of wearing your natural curls on your wedding day, I’m here to help create a style that feels like you—just elevated.

One month.
That’s all it took for us to go from saying “yes” to saying “I do.”
Looking back, I don’t remember if every curl stayed perfectly in place or whether my lipstick lasted the entire day.
What I do remember are the moments.
The quiet before everything began.
The excitement.
The laughter.
Watching my daughter see me as a bride.
Being surrounded by the people who loved us.
And the moment I became a wife.
That morning reminded me why I do what I do.
As a bridal hairstylist, I know beautiful hair and makeup are only part of the experience. My heart is in creating a calm, meaningful morning where my brides feel cared for, present, and completely themselves.
This little film captures more than our wedding day—it captures a chapter of our story that I’ll treasure forever.
Thank you for being here and following along. 🤍
The morning didn’t start with rushing.
It started on my deck with a coffee in hand, listening to the quiet.
I sat there for a few minutes and had a little chat with my mom. Not with tears, but with peace. I soaked in the stillness, listened to the birds, and let the universe remind me I was exactly where I was meant to be.
When I walked back inside, the house slowly came to life.
There were a few nerves, lots of laughter, and my daughter—who started the morning a little cranky but quickly turned into the sweetest little sidekick. Watching her excitement made everything feel even more real. It’s a memory I’ll hold onto forever.
As the morning unfolded, I felt something I wasn’t expecting.
Calm.
After everything life has asked me to carry, I felt aligned. Grateful. Proud of the woman I had become and the life I was stepping into.
If I could give every bride one piece of advice, it would be this:
Take 15 minutes for yourself.
Step outside. Breathe the fresh air. Sit with your thoughts. Feel every emotion without trying to rush through it. Those quiet moments become some of the ones you’ll remember most.
Tomorrow… I’ll finally share the day itself. 🤍
🤍
It was quiet.
Just me, my daughter, and my mother-in-law.
As I sat getting ready, there was a heaviness beside the excitement. I found myself sitting with my grief, wishing my mom was there to share this moment with me. There are some milestones where the people we miss are felt the most.
But as I looked over at my daughter, I was reminded that love doesn’t leave us. It changes shape.
Sharing those quiet moments with her before I walked down the aisle is something I’ll carry with me forever. No rushing. No big crowd. Just presence, love, and the women who held space for me that morning.
Weddings aren’t just about the dress or the details.
They’re about the people who stand beside you, hold your hand when words aren’t enough, and help carry you into your next chapter.
And for that, I’ll always be grateful. 🤍
