This was such an exciting service for me. I haven’t seen this young man since we were 12 or 13. He came to Clinton elementary school in sixth grade and we both went to Abbott middle school together!

When he reached out and asked if he could come in to get his Locs done. I was so excited to see and catch up with him, and not that, but he drove from Byron, Illinois like that’s past Rockford for my understanding!

I’m like oh my God that’s amazing! All of my customers yesterday came from pretty far places. AA girl came from DeKalb who is studying to be a lawyer at NIU , and I had another loc client, a sounds engineer named Kenny come in from Cary.

So many awesome people living amazing lives.

It means so much to me that people choose to drive out here to Geneva to spend time and get their hair done because they trust me and enjoy my company.

It means so much to me to have such wonderful friends and clients and from the bottom of my heart thank you to everybody who makes the drive. Oh! I also had Rachel and her daughter AnaLia in from Pingree Grove on Thursday I believe. The fact that these places aren’t close and gas isn’t cheap isn’t lost on me. It means the world to me .
