We're 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 set for phase 1 surgeries, after screening through 11 top hospitals here in 𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐀, vis-à-vis the restoration of 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍s internal and external self.

On Sunday 9th, everything being equal, 4 specialists of 4 different domains ( E + N + T + Plastic surgeons) will begin the very delicate complex process of reconstructing 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍s Upper & lower jaw bone, as well as re-establish her ENT track, to enable her start breathing normally, through the nose.

This phase, which is exclusively about reconstructing her internal organs, is estimated to last for about 10 hours, as we're told , everything being equal.

Dear family, friends, and supporters, ❤️

Many of you have been eagerly waiting to see my new face after traveling to Asia for my facial reconstruction surgeries. I know your excitement comes from a place of love, and I am deeply grateful for that.

Today, I want to share a little update with you.

The doctors have not started the surgeries yet because my case is extremely complex. They are still carefully evaluating and planning every step before they proceed. As you can see from my 3D CT scan, the bullets caused devastating damage to the bones of my face. This is not a routine surgery—it is one of the most challenging cases the surgeons have handled.

I kindly ask you not to expect too much or expect a perfect transformation overnight. The doctors will do everything humanly possible to help restore my face and improve my quality of life, but ultimately, only God has the final say over my healing.

The surgeons have also explained that all the reconstructive surgeries cannot be done at once. My body will need time to heal after each operation before another surgery can be performed. This journey will require patience, strength, and faith.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single person who has supported me—whether through your prayers, encouraging messages, or financial contributions. Every act of kindness has brought me this far, and I will never take it for granted.

But today, I humbly ask for your support now more than ever. This delicate stage of my journey is one of the most difficult, and the medical costs are enormous because of the complexity of my condition.

Behind every strong child is a mother who silently fought battles no one ever saw.

This is my mother.

The strongest woman I have ever known.

A widow. A mother of eight. A woman whose hands have carried the weight of an entire family without ever asking for recognition.

Every single day, she leaves for the farm at 6:00 in the morning and returns at 6:00 in the evening, exhausted but never defeated. Rain or sunshine, pain or fatigue, she keeps going because her children must eat.

She gave us her youth. She gave us her strength. She gave us her dreams so that we could have ours.

The day this picture was taken, she came to the airport to see me off as I traveled to Asia for another stage of my facial reconstruction surgeries. I could see the hope in her eyes, but I also saw the years of pain she has carried in silence.

My greatest prayer is not for wealth or fame.

Lord, restore my health completely. Heal me. Strengthen me. Let me stand whole again so I can finally become the child who takes care of the woman who spent her entire life taking care of me.

She deserves to rest.
She deserves peace.
She deserves joy.
She deserves to wake up one day knowing that her sacrifices were never in vain.

To every mother who sacrifices everything so her children can have a better tomorrow, you are heaven’s greatest gift to humanity. Your love cannot be measured. Your strength cannot be replaced.

Mum, if I become anything in this life, it will be because you never gave up on me.

I love you more than words can ever express, and I promise that one day, by God’s grace, I will make you proud.

A very very emotional scene just occured here. The chief surgeon, head of 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍s TREATMENT Team, requested for an image of her before tragedy struck. When we presented it to him, same image below, he almost burst into tears, asking us six Times, over & over again, if that's really 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍 on the pic. I smiled every time he asked. Then he asked what really happened to her and who's responsible for her pain. And when I told him/them that she was shot several Times, notably on her face, in her home, when she was just 14, among others, as well as reveal the identity of THEY who shot her, whom we all know, he almost broke down into tears.... He had to take a break, into the rest room, most probably, to quench his tears....

𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍

A young man from +243 contacted me yesterday, regarding 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍, showing quite some interest in her. He began by asking if I had any blood or romantic relationship with her, to which question I responded with an obvious NO. He then asked whether she's married; and I said NO. Then he went further, asking questions related to her health situation, her family, her level of education, her ambitions, etc. I gave him my honest opinion in that regard.

Then, he said he's tried to engage in a conversation with 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍 on several occasions but she's not giving him an ear, adding that he lastly attempted during our journey to ASIA, but he got no response, even though 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍 read and listened to his written & voice messages. She even implicitly turned down his offer to send some cash to her, by maintaining complete silence vis-à-vis his offer. He concluded by saying he's ready to marry her, and will Marry her, as she is, adding that he doesn't even care whether or not any further adjustments (surgeries) are done on her or not. That he loves her AS SHE IS. Then he pleaded with me to pass on his plea to 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍, adding that he'll love to meet her in person, if she gives him a chance. Etc - etc - etc.

Then I told him this, in response, same words I humbly offer to all young men in search of wives : "If you truly need a wife (not a girl/woman ; rather a WIFE), take a good look at 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍. That's the manner of wife you need. A very strong woman who doesn't backoff in the face of adversity. Who converts misfortune into blessings. Who curses not her enemies, who prides in her being AS SHE IS, embracing all manner of insults, discrimination, isolation, with joy & determination. Who understands that everything works according to plan, and that the Divine have a way of drawing a straight line in a very crooked way. Who finds happiness from within and not without. Who NEVER gives up on herself, nor on WHATEVER her heart and eye beholds. Whose patience is beyond understanding... Who's best Friend is Time. So, if you genuinely need 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍 as wife, out of CONVICTION and not PITY, then go for it, if she'll give you a chance. And whoever gets hold of her or her type, that immaculate inner beauty, gets hold of the Universe"

Please kindly take your time to read through the numbers of surgeries I need to undergo. And this surgeries can be done at once.

CURRENTLY honoring our rendez-vous with the highly qualified Asian medical team vis-à-vis 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍s situation.They insisted to see her in person to enable them arrive the most accurate assesment of her case.

Initial assesment confirms that 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐍 has 7 major challenges (surgeries) to overcome, thus :

1. Her jaw born needs to be re-constructed (it's destroyed)

2. Her tongue too (she has half a tongue)

3. Her sight (if possible) has to be redeemed (she totally lost sight on the right eye and the left is seriously affected)

4. She needs multiple dental implantations (she's lost almost all her teeth)

5. Breathing normally (through the nose) is a top priority, and the most delicate of all surgeries/concerns (as she breathes through the neck for 8 years now and counting), demanding a very professionnal intervention/approach by specialists from 4 different domains

6. Her mouth needs serious attention (to permit her eat & speak freely

7. Partial Face reconstruction surgery ( plastic surgery )

We're currently awaiting the treatment plan, total cost (if initial cost is maintained or modified), and recommendations from the specialists (their opinion)
