Nelson Mandela once said " Education is the most powerful instrument that can be used to change the world " , in this light Chenwi's Smile Foundation took it upon herself to provide a back to school support scheme to over 175 orphans in the North West Region of Cameroon with the sole aim of helping them meet up with their educational aspirations and fulfill their dreams.

After consideration of the current COVID - 19 situation and in line with Government action and prescription geared towards mitigating the situation, the Self Reliance Skills Training Program that was initially slated to run from April 1st to April 30th, 2020 has been suspended. We truly regret all inconveniences and promise that as soon as the situation would permit, we would reschedule and keep you all informed. Thanks

Formation de 4 semaines sur les sujets suivants:
SEMAINE 1: Production de produits de santé et de beauté, par ex. savon en poudre, eau de javel, shampooing pour les cheveux, cidre de pomme, gel pour les cheveux, désinfectant pour les mains, vaseline, savon liquide, parfums, savon au moringa, mentol et sel de mer, etc.

SEMAINE 2: Production de certains plats africains par ex. Achu, Fufu & Eru, Ndole, Riz Frit, Koki, Egusi Pudding, Sanga, kok Mkwem etc.

SEMAINE 3: Production de jus (par exemple, yaourt, jus de fraise, jus de corasol, jus de mangue, jus d'ananas, jus de patte de patte, jus de raisin, salades, etc.), artisanat (par exemple perles, pantoufles, auvents nigérians, etc.)

SEMAINE 4: Fabrication d'une variété de gâteaux et pâtisseries, par ex. Gâteau au chocolat, gâteau à la banane, gâteau aux carottes, gâteau à la noix de coco, gâteaux de mariage, arachides, beignets, feuilletés, gateaux, crêpes, etc.

DU 1er avril au 30 avril (du lundi au samedi)

Honoraires:
1. Inscription + Certificat + Tablier + un torchon et un désinfectant pour les mains: 10 000 F CFA
2. Frais de formation: 50 000 F CFA
NB: Les frais ci-dessus incluent le coût de tous les matériaux.

4 Weeks Training on the following:
WEEK 1: Production of Health and Beauty products e.g. powder soap, eau de javel, hair shampoo, Apple Cider, Hair gel, hand sanitizer, Vaseline, liquid soap, perfumes, moringa soap, mentol and sea salt etc.

WEEK 2: Production of some African dishes e.g. Achu, Fufu & Eru, Ndole, Fried Rice, Koki, Egusi Pudding, Sanga, kok Mkwem etc

WEEK 3 : Production of Juices (e.g. Yogurt , Strawberry juice, Corasol juice, Mango juice, Pineapple juice, Paw-paw juice, Grapes Juice, salads etc), Arts and Crafts (e.g. Beads, slippers,Nigerian canopies etc.)

WEEK 4: Making of Variety of cakes and Pastries e.g. Chocolate cake, Banana cake, Carrot cake, Coconut cake , Wedding cakes, Peanuts , Doughnut, Puff-puff, Gateaux, Pancake etc

FROM April 1st To April 30th (Mondays to Saturdays)

Fees:
1. Registration + Certificate + Apron+ one kitchen towel & Hand sanitizer: 10 000 F CFA
2. Training Fee : 50 000 F CFA
