Du 24 au 30 avril 2026, PROVARESSC appelle à une mobilisation collective autour du thème :
👉 « Pour chaque génération, les vaccins fonctionnent »

Depuis des décennies, la vaccination sauve des millions de vies et protège nos communautés contre des maladies évitables. Aujourd’hui encore, elle reste l’un des moyens les plus sûrs et efficaces pour préserver la santé de tous.

Face à la désinformation, chacun a un rôle à jouer :
✔ S’informer auprès de sources fiables
✔ Sensibiliser son entourage
✔ Faire vacciner les enfants et se protéger à tout âge

💙 Support Visit to the Oncology Unit – Laquintinie Hospital, Douala

On Saturday, April 11, Better life, Stand Against Cancer., and VAHACommunity joined forces for a support visit to cancer patients in the oncology department of Laquintinie Hospital in Douala.

Highlights of this meaningful day included:

🤝 Warm conversations with patients focused on hope, resilience, and mental strength

🎁 Distribution of care packages to provide material and emotional support

🍪 A shared refreshment moment to encourage connection and smiles

🏥 Visits to bedridden patients to offer comfort, encouragement, and presence

This initiative helped bring smiles, comfort, and reminded each patient that they are not alone in their journey.

The day ended in a spirit of unity among the teams, with a strong commitment to continue supporting vulnérable individuals.

💙 We encourage anyone or any organization willing to support these efforts to contribute through donations. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a real difference in the lives of these patients.

💙 Visite de soutien au service oncologie – Hôpital Laquintinie de Douala

Le samedi 11 avril, Value Health Africa, Stand Against Cancer et Better Life ont uni leurs forces pour une visite de soutien aux patients atteints de cancer au service oncologie de l’Hôpital Laquintinie de Douala.

Au programme de cette journée riche en émotions :
🤝 Des échanges chaleureux avec les patients autour de l’espoir, du moral et de la force mentale
🎁 La distribution de dons pour apporter un soutien matériel et humain
🍪 Un moment de convivialité autour d’une collation
🏥 Des visites aux patients alités pour leur offrir réconfort et encouragement

Cette initiative a permis de partager des sourires, d’apporter du réconfort et de rappeler à chaque patient qu’il n’est pas seul dans son combat.

La journée s’est clôturée dans un esprit de cohésion entre les équipes, avec un sentiment fort : continuer à agir pour les personnes vulnérables.

💙 Nous encourageons toute personne ou structure de bonne volonté à continuer de soutenir ces engagements en faisant des dons. Chaque contribution, quelle qu’elle soit, peut faire une réelle différence dans la vie de ces patients.

📍 MBANKOMO | PROVARESSC GENERAL ASSEMBLY: VALUE HEALTH AFRICA JOINS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

This Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the town of Mbankomo hosted the General Assembly of PROVARESSC, bringing together Thirty-three members of civil society who are the key stakeholders in the health sector committed to strengthening organizational capacity.

The opening ceremony was marked by the address of the representative of the Minister of Public Health, Dr. EBONGO Zacheus NANJE, Director of Family Health. In his speech, he commended PROVARESSC for its continued commitment to improving the quality of health project implementation, particularly within the FPP GAVI program. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening organizational capacity and promoting continuous learning to ensure effective and sustainable interventions for the benefit of communities.

The proceedings continued with the presentation of the General Assembly objectives by the Executive Secretary, followed by the presentation of the revised statutes (2026 version) by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

A key highlight of the meeting:

✔️ Bertrand Kampoer was unanimously re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

✔️ Geneviève Owono was elected head of the Audit and Ethics Committee, reflecting a strong commitment to transparency and good governance.

✔️ Ferdinand Tabi was maintained in his position as Executive Secretary.

✔️ Value Health Africa was elected as a member of the Board of Directors, marking a significant step in strengthening its contribution to health governance and community-focused interventions.

This General Assembly reflects a dynamic of consolidating achievements while advancing toward more structured actions in service of communities.

📍 MBANKOMO | ASSEMBLÉE GÉNÉRALE DE PROVARESSC : VALUE HEALTH AFRICA INTÈGRE LE CONSEIL D’ADMINISTRATION

Ce mardi 14 avril 2026, la localité de Mbankomo a accueilli l’Assemblée générale de PROVARESSC, réunissant plusieurs acteurs du secteur de la santé engagés dans le renforcement des capacités organisationnelles.

La cérémonie d’ouverture a été marquée par l’allocution du représentant du Ministre de la Santé publique, Dr. EBONGO Zacheus NANJE, Directeur de la Santé familiale. Dans son intervention, il a salué l’engagement constant de PROVARESSC dans l’amélioration de la qualité de mise en œuvre des projets de santé, notamment dans le cadre du programme FPP GAVI. Il a également souligné l’importance du renforcement des capacités organisationnelles et de l’apprentissage continu afin de garantir des interventions efficaces et durables au bénéfice des populations.

Les travaux se sont poursuivis avec la présentation des objectifs de l’Assemblée générale par le Secrétaire exécutif, suivie de la présentation des statuts révisés (version 2026) par le Président du Conseil d’administration.

Moment clé de cette rencontre :

✔️ Bertrand Kampoer a été reconduit à l’unanimité au poste de Président du Conseil d’administration.

✔️ Geneviève Owono a été élue à la tête du Comité Audit et Éthique, traduisant un engagement fort en faveur de la transparence et de la bonne gouvernance.

✔️ Ferdinand Tabi est maintenu dans ses fonctions de Secrétaire exécutif.

✔️ Value Health Africa intègre le Conseil d’administration, marquant une étape importante dans le renforcement de son rôle dans la gouvernance de la santé et les interventions au service des communautés.

Cette Assemblée générale s’inscrit dans une dynamique de consolidation des acquis et de projection vers des actions plus structurées, au service des communautés.
