At 19 I dropped out of uni, at 21 I lost my dad…I struggled with EDs throughout my 20’s and had zero self worth. I became a mum at 24 which was the best thing I ever did in my life…the next 6 years I was either pregnant or breastfeeding. I embraced motherhood and loved it because I felt like I’d finally found something I was good at 🥲🥹 Then in 2023 I experienced a betrayal of trust from my children’s school that traumatised me beyond belief. It made me question everything about my self worth and I realised I needed to protect myself. I felt a deep desire to build myself up again and actually discover who I was outside of being a mum…because I didn’t want anyone to make me feel that worthless again. 💔 So in 2024 I enrolled in the and decided to pursue my dream of becoming a nutritional therapist 🥰 2 years later here I am 🥹🎓 If you’re wondering whether it’s too late, or if you can ever be anything other than “just a mum” (which isn’t a thing by the way!) just know that it is 100% possible to achieve your dreams and raise a family at the same time 🥰 I’m 38 and now a qualified nutritional therapist & to psychological coach…those are words I honestly never thought I’d say! 🩷 I hope this inspires me that you are worth it, and you can do hard things…even if you ever felt worthless, or like a failure…and even with all the responsibilities that come with being a mama. 🥰
