Trust is the whole job, if I’m honest.
An actress before a scene. A model before a shoot. A bride before she walks out to everyone she loves. What happens in that chair can make or break the next few hours — sometimes a career, always someone’s confidence.
All these years in, I still don’t take that lightly or for granted.
Thank you for trusting me with this one, and for putting into words what I always try to do but rarely know how to explain.
Grateful doesn’t quite cover it.

Emma’s destination wedding in Spain will always be one for the memory box 🤍
Glasgow bride, Glasgow groom, both families flying out for the trial — and me sat there with my own Glaswegian roots getting properly homesick in the best way. My dad’s side is from Glasgow, so having a room full of that accent felt like a little full-circle moment.
Bridal hair and makeup for Emma’s destination wedding on the Costa del Sol, Spain — one of so many reasons I love working with couples who travel to Spain and across Europe to say I do :)

Editorial style, Editorial makeup. The two were always meant to go together. 🤍 Aileen’s wedding style is straight out of a couture bridal magazine.
Fun fact about me! A little something you always spot in my BTS: “Baby” on one hand, “Mine” on the other — from Baby Mine, the Alison Krauss version. The song I sang to my daughter in the womb, and still sing at bedtime now :)

The brief for was one line: skin that looks like skin. Clean, glowing, flawless — and no hint that anyone had touched it.
It’s the hardest thing there is. Anyone can pile it on. The art is making it look like it isn’t there.
For this campaign, the key was, prep, texture, reading the light, colour correction, and finding the right base for the skin actually in front of me, not the one I planned for.
Every brand wants glow, but what they’re really asking for is skin that looks like it belongs to a real person, on the best day of their life.
