π«π― Fiji is facing increasing climate-related risks, and in some communities these pressures are already affecting safety, livelihoods, and mobility.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in collaboration with IOM, has launched the Climate Catalytic Fund (CCF) in Fiji.
The CCF is a small, matching fund (blended finance) and fast grants to support community-led climate adaptation projects, helping communities strengthen resilience to climate impacts and minimise the risks of displacement.
In Fiji, the Climate Catalytic Fund (CCF) will focus on communities in Ba and Macuata Provinces.
The selection of the two provinces is supported by evidence generated through IOMβs Climate Mobility Innovation Labβs (CMIL) Risk Index for Climate Displacement (RICD), helping to ensure support reaches areas where climate risks and displacement pressures are most acute.
The application window is open till 5 March 2026, with grants of USD 5,000 β 25,000 for projects that can be delivered within six months.
Further details on eligibility, the application process, and contacts are available on the CCF website: www.iom.int/ccf
