What a busy but lovely day in the studio! 🤍
Today was definitely a builder gel kind of day, with a little bit of everything thrown in — gel polish, a nail repair, gel toes and plenty of gorgeous nail transformations!
We had some beautiful autumn-inspired sets, including the most stunning burgundy chrome, soft n**e and mink shades, and of course, POLKA DOTS! 🤎✨
From French tips with delicate dots to playful polka dot designs, they seem to be making a serious comeback, and I'm loving it!
There's something so satisfying about finishing a long day, looking back at all the different sets and knowing every client has left with nails they love. 🥹💕

Another 5-client day in the studio 💅🏼✨
We started with hard gel, moved onto gel toes and then it was an acrylic afternoon with three acrylic clients back-to-back!
And my first Halloween set of the year officially made an appearance 👻🤍 French tips with tiny hand-painted ghosts and spiderwebs, followed later by the prettiest brown set with hand-painted florals 🤎🌸

Today’s appointments prompted a slightly different kind of video from me. While removing another technician’s product, I discovered a greenie underneath an area of lifting — and it opened up a much bigger conversation about something I feel very strongly about.
As nail techs, our responsibility isn’t just to make nails look beautiful when a client leaves our chair. It’s also to protect and respect the natural nail underneath.
I know appointments take time. I know running a business means watching timings and costs. But for me, nail health will always come before getting someone in and out of the chair faster.
Everybody deserves a gorgeous set of nails — but they deserve a healthy set too. 💅🏼🤍
