• Hairdressing Apprentice — Level 2 or Level 3
• Part-Time Stylist

Our part-time stylist role is for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification salon floor experience, confidence in short hair cutting and confidence in colour work.

For our apprenticeship role, we are open to someone looking to start or continue their hairdressing journey at Level 2 or Level 3.

We’re a luxury, family-run hair salon in Bexleyheath, Kent, with a supportive team, loyal clients and regular training opportunities.

We see this every single year once holiday season starts.

Certain SPFs, especially chemical sunscreens containing avobenzone, can react with minerals, sweat, chlorine and hard water which may cause blonde hair and extensions to turn pink, peachy or extra brassy.

This is usually most noticeable:
• Around the hairline
• On lighter blondes
• On the ends of the hair
• On blonde extensions

If your blonde suddenly starts looking more pink, peachy or orange during summer, your SPF could genuinely be part of the reason.

This doesn’t mean stop wearing SPF obviously 🤍 protecting your skin always comes first. But if you invest in your blonde, it’s worth being mindful of the formulas you’re using.

Mineral based SPFs are often preferred for blonde hair and extensions as they’re less likely to cause discoloration because they typically use zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide instead.

Some mineral SPF options available are:

• Ultrasun Mineral Face SPF50 40ml
• Avene Mineral Fluid SPF50+
• Soltan Boots SPF+ Mineral Suncare Face Lotion

Look for ingredients like:
