I had a lovely session with my client today- she requested an upper back, shoulder, neck and head massage followed by reiki to help ease muscular tension, stress and support her in preparing for an important operation next week. ❤️‍🩹
By the time I'd worked up to her head, she had fallen into a deep sleep and continued to sleep for the remainder of the session while receiving the reiki 😊
I smiled, as when someone falls asleep during a session I know..

💚Their body feels safe enough to fully relax
💚Their nervous system has shifted into a restorative state where healing, recovery and repair can happen
💚Their body was screaming out for this space to rest and restore

And when they are in this restorative state, the body can focus on healing and more readily receive the healing energies of reiki 🙏

This message from my lovely client warmed my heart 😊 It was a privilege to give both her and her daughter a relaxing reiki treatment. There's something special about a mother and daughter sharing and enjoying the healing energies and taking the time to relax and recharge together 💞 Due to her daughter's disability they required a treatment in their home, one of the reasons I'm glad I can provide mobile treatments which allow people to access therapies in the comfort of their own space. 🙏
