Apparently, my body and I needed to have a little chat… 😂👀
Turns out, “I'm fine” isn't always the end of the conversation.
Your body doesn't always shout first. Sometimes it whispers — and paying attention early matters. 💛
Be honest… has your body been trying to tell you something lately? 😂
What if we stopped waiting for something to hurt before we started taking our health seriously? 👀
Your body doesn't have to be struggling before it's worth investing in.
Strength. Mobility. Fitness. Everyday function.
That's not just exercise. That's prevention. 💛
What are you doing today that your future body might thank you for?
Sometimes “I'm fine” simply means “I'm still managing.”
And those aren't necessarily the same thing.
As women, we can become incredibly skilled at adapting — to tiredness, discomfort, stress and changes in our bodies — while continuing to work, care, exercise and get through everyday life.
But being able to tolerate something doesn't automatically mean we should ignore it.
Perhaps we need to stop asking only:
“Can I keep going?”
And start asking:
“How am I actually doing?”
And if you know your body has been asking for more support, you don't have to figure out where to start by yourself.
💛 DM me “SUPPORT” and let's talk about how I can help.

Notes from Coach Makky — Part 2 💛
Some lessons take years to learn.
These are a few I wish I'd understood a little earlier.
Maybe one of them is a reminder you needed today too.
Which one are you taking into the new week?
I don't think women hear this often enough.
Somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that resting had to be earned.
That we had to finish every task.
Help everyone else.
Keep smiling.
Keep pushing.
Only then...
Maybe we'd deserve a break.
I don't believe that anymore.
Looking after yourself isn't something you earn.
It's something you need.
If this message found you today...
Take it as your reminder💛
One of the biggest lessons I've learned as a coach is this...
Women don't usually come to me because they don't know exercise.
They come because they're overwhelmed.
They've spent months—or sometimes years—putting everyone else first.
They've convinced themselves that feeling exhausted, uncomfortable or disconnected from their body is just part of life.
It doesn't have to stay that way.
Sometimes the first step isn't another workout.
Sometimes it's simply having someone say,
"I hear you. Let's start where you are."
If any of these slides sounded like you, my inbox is open.
💛 Send me RESET and let's talk.
We often think looking after ourselves has to be something big.
A long workout.
A perfect routine.
Hours of free time.
But sometimes wellbeing starts much more simply.
Stepping outside.
Feeling the sunshine.
Taking a deep breath.
Noticing the little things we've been too busy to see.
Those small moments matter more than we often realise.
💛 I hope you find a few of them this weekend.
What's one small thing you'll do for yourself?
Most women don't stop exercising because they're lazy.
They stop because they've been taught to see exercise as punishment.
Punishment for eating. Punishment for gaining weight. Punishment for not looking a certain way.
But movement was never meant to feel like a punishment.
It's one of the greatest investments you can make in your future health.
When you start exercising to have more energy, build strength, reduce aches and protect your long-term health, everything changes.
That's the heart of preventative health.
💛 What was your relationship with exercise growing up? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
So many women tell me, "I thought that was just normal."
The truth is, some things become common simply because nobody talks about them.
Being constantly exhausted. Leaking when you sneeze. Living with persistent aches and pains.
These experiences are common, but they shouldn't automatically be accepted as "just part of being a woman."
Small, consistent changes can often make a meaningful difference over time.
✨ Which of these have you heard people say is "normal"?
Let's talk about it in the comments.
I think we've been sold the wrong idea about self-care.
Somewhere along the way, self-care became something we only do once we're completely exhausted.
A spa day. A weekend away. A scented candle.
Those things are lovely, but real self-care starts much earlier.
It's taking care of your body before pain becomes normal.
It's building strength so everyday life feels easier.
It's choosing yourself without feeling guilty.
If this resonates with you and you've been putting yourself last, I'd love to help you change that.
