Long before anyone understood germs, people already trusted silver to keep them well.
The Phoenicians stored water and w**e in silver lined vessels on long sea voyages. The Egyptians lined containers with silver sheets to slow spoilage. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, wrote about silver healing wounds as early as the fifth century BC.
Wealthy Romans ate and drank from silver, partly for status, but also because food simply lasted longer. Roman soldiers are said to have dropped silver coins into their water canteens on campaign.
By medieval times, families dropped silver coins into milk barrels to slow it turning sour, which is where the phrase "born with a silver spoon" actually comes from. It was about health, not wealth.
By the 19th century, doctors were using silver nitrate to protect newborns' eyes. In the First World War, silver dressings treated wounds before antibiotics existed.
Thousands of years later, we're still putting the same principle to work, just in a cleaning cloth instead of a jug. 🤍

Grease gone. Water only.
This crystal glass had grease on it and I cleaned it using nothing but the Raypath Mini Wipe and water. No detergent, no soap, no rinsing it twice.
It's the kind of thing you have to see to believe, so watch till the end.
