Dear August,
Please be the beginning of something kinder, gentler, and softer for all of us 🌿🤍
Here’s to fresh starts, quiet growth, and beautiful new chapters 😌
01/08/2026
July was full of little adventures, exciting opportunities, and a few goodbyes.
From conferences and brand events to slower weekends, coffee stops, and my final Pilates class in Dundee before moving back to Glasgow—it was one of those months that reminded me how quickly life changes. Excited for this next chapter, but definitely taking all the memories with me 🤍
If nobody has told you this today…
You can start again.
It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve fallen behind, made mistakes, or doubted yourself. What matters is that you don’t stop believing in the person you’re becoming.
Start again. Always. 🤍
Part 2: My favourite SCE Dermatology resources 📚✨
These are the resources I found most helpful during my revision. You definitely don’t need every textbook or question bank—choose a few good resources, use them consistently, and focus on understanding patterns rather than memorising isolated facts.
I hope this saves you some time (and money!) when deciding where to start💙
Which resource has helped you the most? Let me know below

TK Maxx skincare finds: K-beauty edition 🇰🇷✨
K-beauty at TK Maxx feels like a treasure hunt—but cute packaging, trending ingredients and a reduced sticker don’t automatically mean your skin needs it.
There were some lovely hydrating finds here, but also a reminder to check the seal and expiry date —especially when buying sunscreen.
Which one would make it into your basket? 👀
Not an ad. Stock and prices vary between stores.
Rich in life because I get to experience whatever this is ✨
A gentle reminder that the best parts of life are often the moments you never planned for. Grateful to be here for all of it 😌
SCE Dermatology Tips 📚✨ Part 1
Studying for the SCE can feel overwhelming, but focusing on high-yield topics and understanding concepts (instead of just memorising guidelines) makes a huge difference.
This is Part 1 of my favourite revision tips that helped me prepare. Save this for your next study session, and let me know what topic you’d like me to cover next! 👩🏻⚕️📖
Mosquito bites may seem harmless, but scratching them is one of the biggest reasons they can become infected or leave behind stubborn dark marks (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation)
🦟 Here’s how to manage them:
• ❄️ Apply a cold compress for 10–15 minutes to reduce itching and swelling
• 💊 Consider an oral antihistamine if the itch is severe
• 🧴 Topical steroids can help calm inflammation (use as directed)
• 🚫 Avoid scratching—it prolongs inflammation, increases the risk of infection, and can lead to longer-lasting pigmentation
